So, Here's the Thing, And All That...
So here's the thing, I finally got a web site up and running, added some web tracking and advertising and some posts. I think I have an interesting site, but not a lot to offer at this point. I'm checking my theme, looking for new content, and brainstorming ways to upgrade the look and feel of the site itself. But I'm not patient!
I realize that building any business, Online or otherwise, takes time and effort. I'm all about the effort part; it's the time part that gets me. In other words, I've been up and running for about 24 hours and I want to see results. AAAAGGGHHH!
I'm sure many of you feel the same way I do, but time takes, well, time. Success usually occurs after lots of hard work and waiting. Waiting to drive traffic to your site. Waiting to build a customer base. Waiting to move up the Google food chain. Waiting to make sure you meet your customers needs, so they come back over and over again. Waiting for some payout to happen. Waiting, waiting, waiting.
Don't be alarmed when you have to wait a bit to see some return on the investment. So much of your success depends upon your ability to stay on top of your niche by doing ample research and understanding the market you're entering. Keeping up with trends and making adjustments to your site can increase success, and cut down on the waiting.
Anyway, I wanted to rant a bit while encouraging myself and anyone who reads this to be patient, work hard, and don't give up.
Now, what will my next niche be? Maybe light bulbs or gourmet chocolate or...
Have a great day with great success!
Jim

Well, I have been on the sidelines (of internet marketing) for years, waiting for the lightbulb moment as to what is the best way to go. It's all here, and now I just have to throw myself in. You leave me in no doubt that it is not going to happen overnight, more waiting, but at least there will be doing too. I will try to keep myself busy doing so I don't notice the waiting too much. Here's to your success, too.
Persistence and making smart choices will bring you success every time. Keep at it!
