I've had a website for about 3 years, but it's in a very large niche. (working from home) I thought I found the answer when I discovered Affiliate Marketing, but I also found I nee

I think you will want to use the hosting here at WA if possible, it comes free with your premium membership so no need paying someone else. If it's a wordpress theme it may be as easy as setting your DNS setting to direct to WA servers so that you can access your dashboard through WA. Might want to ask Kyle or Carson if this is possible with a PM, they will help you out, cheers Mike.

Sounds good to me. I have hostgator right now and will check and find out if I can change this. Thank you Mike, again:)

Hey Heidi, I have been thinking about your site predicament and this is my thought, to be honest if I had a site for 3 years and not much has happened with it to be honest I would ditch it and start on a new one. Start fresh with new content, new domain name or take some ideas from your old one, stay in the same niche if you want to but building a new rep with Google is not a bad idea. I really think Carson or Kyle will give you the same advice. Start fresh and build something great, if you need a hand let me know. Kind of hard to do but I really think that this will be the best route, I've done it before and it was the best move I made. Cheers Mike

I received a response from the IT tech team here and they tell me that unless the sites on Hostgator are WP sites, they cannot transfer them over to WA. That is certainly a curiosity to me. Why would they not have the benefit of transferring any sites, not only WP? I am not sure what I will do, as I have already four websites live on Hostgator, and one domain only, with no website attached

Hi Sal, I don't know how to answer you since I'm new to WA and am learning how to do things myself. I'm sorry. There must be experienced people here that can help you. Stay in touch and let me know how it worked out.

Hi. You can use what you learn here on your website. Sounds like you need to focus on your niche and try to narrow it down. Read as many articles you can here about niches and how to focus on one area of a broad market. You can start up a new site if you want but it sounds like your current one is well underway. Hope this helps a bit.

Thank you Rick, and yes it helped.

Hi there - just wondering what you decided to do as I am in the same situation. I have four websites already hosted with Hostgator but none are the Wordpress style. Can you let me know what you decided and, if you kept the already existing sites, how did you get them moved over to WA? I tried to ftp mine with the ftp information I received in WA, but they did not transfer. Perhaps I have missed another step, other than directing the dns to WA. Did you have to transfer your domains? Any update you can give me would be appreciated. Thanks!

Hello Sal. I'd be glad to keep you posted on my progress regarding my website. Right now my priority is finding out how I can use my present website before moving it. I hope this will answer your question:)
