Do I need to register for another Akismet account and if so what about the original account?
Thank you so much for the answer, but will Akismet continue to withdraw the monthly due for the old website even though it is now over ridden by the new website?
Akismet shouldn't be charging you anything. If you register correctly, it will take you to an option where you can select "how much" you wish to pay. You can take it all the way down to $0 which is what we all do, and then it's free.
But to your direct question, if you signed up to be charged monthly, it should. I would remove that, re-register under a different email and get it for free.
I think so. I have multiple WP sites and for each, I opened up a new account through a different email. It's a bit annoying, but I didn't want to bother figuring out the other options.

To clarify myself, the old website no longer exit because it is overridden by the new website on the domain. My concern is not to charged twice for one service.
You can make as many akismet accounts as you want so long as you keep using a different email. Just keep selecting it to free and you'll be fine.
