Hey Hauoli,

There are a few options... see screen prints below for one option...

OR

You can go to your WordPress Dashboard > Appearance > Customize and find the option for replacing the image you do not want. There, you should find instructions as to the recommended size for your replacement image.

Once that step has been completed, you can then go to your Media Library, find the image you no longer need, and deleted as shown in the screen prints below.

It is always a wise move to NOT use any template images as they are most likely copyrighted. And... it is always wise to delete any unused, unnecessary images so that you website loads faster.

Hope you find this helpful.

Hauoli,

This is done from the WordPress area of the complete website when you view it (screenshot below) by clicking the Customize
Button at the top of the page it will bring up a menu on the left
side - depending on the theme it will be listed as Site Identity
or Header Image - you will have to look under each until you
find it and then just click on the "Remove"

How do i take off website theme pictures?

I chose a website from the vast variety of websites and there is a picture of some town that I thought would be taken off when I deleted the "defaults" in my "page" and "post"<

Go to your website dashboard then click customize depending on the theme you should see Logo at the top click that and if that image is there you can remove it and even replace it with an image of your own. Just be aware that some website may not give you that option most will

I also sent you the reply on Live chat both Scott's reply below and mine will take you to the same place just a different way to get there.

Chances are, you'll need to replace the image. Log into your site dashboard and navigate to Appearance > Customize. Once that page loads look at the various options and see where the image may be referenced. Just upload a different image.

my niche is top chef knives and i feel unease a little with using other peoples information for my content. but i will if i need to and just try to write with my own words but

Hi Hauoli.

You should always use accurate information. That way you build credibility.

When you do your research you gather all the info you can get, evaluate it and then write your story around what you have found. Don't duplicate others information. Google doesn't like that.

Hennie

Thank you so much! That helped a lot! I am on level 2, lesson 3, I supposed to be writing my first rich content post but got into a hold up because i was wondering about getting accurate information. So now I feel this is where the hard work is beginning. Deep breathes!

I want, if possible, straight from the source information about my niche so that I feel more comfortable and confident with my content. I want to give the people accurate info

Hey Hau’oli,

For me... that is one of my most important things to protect... my online reputation for honest reviews on products and services.

So, "yes" by all means either purchase the product or contact the seller, explaining that you are (or will be) writing up a review. Some sellers may ignore you, while others may offer you a freebie.

Hope this helps you.

Mahalo (thank you),

I'm on level 2 lesson 3 learning about rich content and I went to do some research to begin getting some content and got little discouraged because some the websites that talk about my niche were pretty awesome. So it made me think of getting first hand information even more for myself to feel good about what I put out and for the sake of people who are looking for the the product. My niche is about the top chef knives.I really appreciate it!!! That really helped me!!!
