Good evening my brother you are not going into many different directions it's exactly what I do and it works out real well may success be always with you
You should draw a relationship diagram with optimum fitness being the goal. Draw a box around it.
Draw lines from this box to everything necessary to achieving fitness. Name those things like exercise, body weight, food, supplements, sleep, mental health, lifestyle, etc.
Make fitness your niche. All these other things factor in to achieve fitness. These will spawn an endless array of topics you can write helpful blogs about.
Essentially tell a story about what is necessary to becoming fit and maintaining fitness.
The introduction will be how you plan to help people become fit and maintain it. Talk about how you plan to introduce these elements in supporting blogs.
Use the site content to write your titles and headlines for about 10 blog posts. Do your keyword research to finalize the titles to each blog.
Once you have your framework completed, start writing one article at a time. Do your grammar and spellcheck before finding appropriate pictures.
If you can find supporting data and graphs, insert them in your article as graphics.
When you’re happy with your piece, publish.
All the best to you.

Focus on a niche within the niche. If you're passionate about the gym and fitness, focus on things like yoga mats or knee braces etc. look around the gym and see what market is being overlooked. everyone is selling fitness equipment and supplements..why not sell thermo bottles that people need for their energy drinks etc. I don't hang out at the gym these days but I hope this info helps you out.
Obi, don't let something like this bog you down. You can work with a wider niche just make sure you set your website up appropriately.
I am sure there are a number of ways to do this. What I do is subdivide my niche onto pages. For example I promote eReaders. So I have one page that is for reviews. Then I attach the page specifically about eReaders onto this parent page.
I also have a costume affiliate. Well what better parent niche, sci-fi and fantasy, is great for costumes. And this also goes under reviews.
I keep my menu as broad niche headings such as paranormal, legend, steampunk and so on, and do an introductory page. Then I do posts on these sub-niches and link them to the appropriate introductory page.
You could do something like this. Just start with one main page, say the one you feel most in touch with. Then feel your way from there.
Hope that gives you one idea.

If all the things you want to discuss are linked then by all means blog about them on your website.
You wouldn't want to talk about muscle mass for instance without going through how, why and supplements to use.
