The one thing that I hear constantly is the wait times due to TSA checkpoints.
Maybe you can offer information on the airports with lesser wait times.
It's like here where I live. I have three, almost four airport choices. Sacramento, San Francisco, Oakland, and the furthest from me being San Jose. I will usually fly out of Sacramento due to the lighter passenger count. But in some cases I will fly out of the other airports due to flight times, flight availability, or cost.
People want to save time and get to their destination. I think this could offer you a great topic to attract the traffic you want.

Hi there.
I think it would be valuable to people to have travel insurance charges and cover reviews - who is the best, most expensive, cheapest etc - and what they cover - delays, illness, hospital, declared conditions etc. I would also give information on visas and innoculations for specific countries.
Hope this is of some use.
Take care and good luck.

How about a list where the (best) smoking facilities are on major airports the world over. Smokers will appreciate this.
And you can inform the smokers about electronic cigarettes and sell these plus the fluids for the refil ones. You could even toss in a little something about traveling being an excellent moment to quit smoking and sell quit smoking books and stuff.
You can as well use keyword tool to find out what people are searching for in this area. You will get more ideas from this and you will be able to base your site on what people are looking for.
I have some saved keyword lists. I will look over them now and pull some ideas. Thank you for the advice! ☺
Hi, Lucia, nice to meet you here. Your comment is helpful to me as I keep forgetting about the keywords.
I´ll be following you. Please feel free to do the same.
Big project! The best advice I could give you would be separating things into categories...
Travelling for:
Families
Singles
Couples
Business
Then you could have a category for travel hacks:
Best apps to save time and money
How to avoid airport security lines
Save money on tours
etc
So you would build a master / pillar article (page) for each of your main categories.. One that you want all people to view.
Then you would write contextual posts that relate to a particular article and link to it from your blog post.
It is a big project. I thought it would be easy because it's something I am truly interested in researching, but the organization part of my website is killing me. I am a little confused now. You have broke it down A WHOLE LOT better for me and I greatly appreciate it. I am still worried though.
try and find another site that is similar.. look at how they structure it and reverse engineer it.
When I book a flight I usually book early. I usually don't take vacations except NY. My friend usually pay for my bus ticket. People usually take vacations in the summer when kids are out of school. When I was in school i used to take vacations in the summer. I think September is one of the cheapest months to go on vacation. Some go at that time especially around labor day. I'm going at the end of August this year, I'm going to a wedding reception on the lake.
Thank you for the information! Sounds like you travel quite a bit more than I ever have. I have been to two places my whole life, Mexico and Seattle, that's about it. I was very young. Thank you again! ☺
I haven't really done that much traveling these last couple years because of money problems. I only been to NY for a wedding. Then I'm going back for a reception. I been in 22 states. If you want to consider the states I flew over it's 29. Like I never been to North or South Carolina, but been to Georgia. Like I never been to Kentucky, but I been to Tennessee. Like I never been to Alabama Mississippi Louisiana and Texas, but I been to New Mexico. I flew over those states, but never been in them. I wish I spoke to you earlier, my coworker went to Seattle recently.

I am trying to remember how to create a subtitle for my website so it doesn't say, Just Another WordPress Site right under my main title and for some reason I also can't figure
I am fairly new as well. I was working with Omega, and I'm not sure if it makes a difference, but here are the steps I took to change that tagline.
Log in through SiteRubix
Click "view site" under your site name - it comes up if you hover over your title.
Click on "Customize"
Click on "Branding"
Your title and tagline should come up, and you can edit it to whatever you want.
I hope this helps. I take crazy notes so if this doesn't work, let me know and I will check my notes.

I am starting my "keyword research" in regards to my niche, which is Budget tips for traveling. Can some members give me a few keyword ideas to start researching that focus on
@JudeP, lol, that is definitely something I can look into as well. Have you been ripped off while traveling to a foreign country? How bad was it, if you don't mind telling me your experience?
What you have written in your question above would be more than enough keywords for your site. You may have to narrow it down some because when you put them into google you will find that you have more than enough key words to last you a long time. I would go with the main ones that you want to focus on in your site. Trust me, I did the same thing. And that advice was given to me. Good luck!
Thank you for the advice. I will implement as much as possible during my search. I wish you the best as well!
So far I've found that diving in with a few keywords/keyterms will throw up some other words to search under. As a test I tried using the WA keyword tool with the term "Budget Travel". It listed things such as:
Budget Travel deal
Budget Travel Flights
Budget Travel Holidays
Best Travel deals
Travel Cheap
Travel Budget
Travel on a Budget
Cheap air fare
Cheap flights
When I did this kind of search for my niche I started with just a few keywords and then made a note of other keywords coming off those searches, and then searched on them looking for Kyle's basic recommendations of "some traffic" along with a QSR of under 100 (relatively low competition from other websites). You'll get a lot of ideas just from putting some basic terms in and seeing where they take you. A variation is the "Alphabet Soup" search in Google where you type in something like "Budget Travel A", "Budget travel B" Budget Travel C" and see what Google suggests coming off those keywords.
You may get better advice from members who have been doing this sort of searching for longer than I have, but what I've listed above worked quite well for me.
I will definitely implement these ideas as well in my search. I'll take all the ideas I can get and implement a variety of them all and definitely appreciate the ideas you brought in. Thank you for your help!
Just bail off into the keyword tool and go crazy. If you are using the tool in WA the dig tab is a great one to push as it will give you more ideas. Have fun
Thank you for that info about the dig tab. I will be sure to make use of that as I continue my keyword research. Awesome advice!
