I've been playing with the idea of doing a FB lead gen campaign that specifically targets millennials. My "pitch" is basically if you can use FB and YouTube you can build an o
I think there is a number of people in this group on WA. Most that I have read have been from other countries. One guy from Hawaii that I like. Maybe try reading their posts and see what is driving them and how they found WA. I can't remember all the names right now - but their energy, enthusiasm, and drive impresses me.
This groups concerns actually spurred several of my best food niches....
Facebook ads could be great however your targeting and your ads must be top notch.
To be honest I haven't been able to get any leads in the Make Money niche through FB, they're a tough crowd ;)
ALEX....looking snazzy. :)
Thanks for the feedback. I'm wondering if there is a side door approach that might work. Something to bring their guard down. Haven't figured out what that might be yet, but I'll keep brainstorming. Thanks.
To be totally honest, I do think there is a way to approach that crowd, I personally haven't spent much time thinking about it. I am getting into Youtube ads at the moment and liking the results, I'll leave Facebook for other niches ;)
Tai Lopez, one of the competition, Lol, uses Facebook extensively, and also Snapchat. This medium is just the type to target this audience, it seems, or has been till now....

Is anyone specifically targeting millenials?

Yes, my website will be to help millennials/current college students save money on course materials and textbooks.
As for your idea about FB groups for millennials, it would be good to suggest niches and hobbies before promoting WA. Another possibility is to find common problems millennials deal with and suggest how WA is a solution.

OK was there a platform update or did I hit something that I can change back.
The followers/following page here on WA used to be a list with the profile image and a users
It wasn't that it was down. It was that they changed it from a sortable list to just the person's profile pic. That's still what I see. Do you see something different?
Ah, I see what you're saying. Yes, I'm seeing the same thing, and I guess there's no changing it back.
I think this is the second recent change. The first threw me right out as I get behind and used to go down the list from the most current of who I should follow and start again from the first of this block. The first seemed to randomise this and I don't like random as there are so many from long ago who aren't active anymore.
Hopefully this format un-randomises but I haven't had time yet to really look at it.
Yeah I'd like to know that too. This has a lot less information than the old list. I understand that some people like it, but I'm not sure less information equals more helpful.
It is more helpful in that you now have the ability to go all the way back to the first person who followed you.
Seeing how I always follow back those who follow me, sometimes I will miss a few people. In the previous version you were limited in how far back you could see who was following you.
I guess I hadn't gotten that far in the following yet. I could still scroll all the way back to the beginning. It just kept loading more people as I scrolled down.
Oh, wow, the pictures are inserted in chronological order! As such, it is still a list! I had not noticed yet. Thanks much, Rob.
Yeah. Great post. For anyone swinging by later. WA Network layout has been updated, this will save time!
I personally think there were some scammers trying to follow.
They have been excluded now and the whole system is being made more secure.

Is anyone else having trouble with the WA site crashing Microsoft Edge? Normally I only use Firefox, but using Edge allows me to be logged into different social media accounts
Not crashing, but all of a sudden, I can't 'blog on WA'. You know...under the pencil? Clearing cache didn't help. Can't get a hold of the famously helpful sitesupport.
hey hi Joe --- it's been some hours since you posted your question which has landed in the awesome WA community for response ---
...hopefully, you've been able to access your WA blog? .... suggest click via your WA Profile >> my blog .... to create new WA posts ...
all the best, cheerio .... :)
None of the procedures work, and I haven't heard from SiteSupport, and nothing about it in Help. It has something to do with Edge specifically because it works in Chrome and Firefox. I've switched to Firefox specifically for WA/business. I use Chrome for my personal stuffs.
Thank you though
.... you're welcome, Joe! .... yes, I like Firefox -- it's served well for a long time ....
....as for Site Support --- the service is generally superb -- however, you've just hit it during the weekend when there might be fewer staff on ... and there's been new server transfers, upgrades and maintenance being done as well ... so as they say, 'patience is a virtue!' ....
it sounds like you've found a successful solution already though? ... if you find that your issue persists, suggest try a service request again early next week when there's more likelihood of a full staff complement on board ....
.... enjoy the rest of a beautiful weekend, cheerio .. :)
I'm on windows so can't run Opera yet, but when I get my Linux computer up that's definitely an option. Thanks.
LOL happens to me all the time. Well not randomly mentioning Opera, but you know phrase mix ups. :)
Firefox all the way, but Firefox had major problems with the SSL upgrade with encryption on websites, had to make permanent exception just to get through to my own site.
I find M Edge unreliable.
Sorry I can't help with Edge crashing but here's another suggestion for you, use Chrome instead. I use an incognito window when I want to log in using other accounts. Or I use Firefox instead of Chrome.
Yeah I currently have other things running on Chrome, but I may have to shut them down and switch over to that. Thanks Marion.
Wow...Fantastic idea about the SMN(s). Never thought of using separate browsers, I really did not....duh on me. Thanks, Cory. You are okay for a Snowman.
As far as the crashing bit...it's still EXPLODER (Explorer) no matter what they change the name to. lol
That is why no one uses it.
Actually it's really not and that's a major part of the problem. They rebuilt the whole thing from the ground up. A lot of people have complained about it because they haven't finished building in features that already existed in IE. I was actually really surprised with how fast it was when I first tried. I still wouldn't recommend it though.
Glad my problem at least gave you a good idea though. :)
This post might help you out Cory: http://www.windowscentral.com/how-fix-microsoft-edge-crashing-issue-windows-10-build-14942 providing you're using Windows10, of course.
Doing a quick Google search for "microsoft edge crash fix" (without the quotation marks, of course), I found there several posts. The link I shared with you here being Google's choice. ;-)

OK so on your website on the individual pages you can put like buttons, Google +1 buttons, whatever. And depending on how it is setup it will show the number of likes, +1s, et

Does "liking" a shared link add that like to the page?

I want to convert audio recordings to text, and I can't find a solution I really like. The idea is that if I do a how to video I can convert the audio to text and not have to
I took a look at that, and the version that does pre recorded audio files costs $300. I don't actually want all the other features so if I'd prefer to find something that only does what I want it to do for less.
Have you tried download.cnet.com/free-voice-to-text or https://www.labnol.org>Tech Guides>Google Chrome
Neither of those links worked for me, but I did find what I think you're referring to on labnol.
I also found a section on there about Twitter Bots, so that was awesome.
How many minutes is it? Could you swop your skills for someone in here to write it up, you do something for them in return?
I've seen someone use a machine of some sort to translate and it was really bad, didn't even make proper sentences. And the industry standard in transcription is an hour audio could take 4 hours to type up...
Good luck, will be very interesting to see how you solve this one. I type fast :)
Grace had asked this question as she was tired of writing. I have heard of Chris Fox's 5000 words an hour app, but haven't used it.
There were interesting answers for Grace's question. You may refer back to her profile and search within the questions she has asked.
