Hi,

I'm writing my thesis to graduate. To focus on my thesis, I would like to stop WA for 3 months and then come back. What should I do to not lose my blog and website on

Send a PM to Kyle and/or Carson. Explain the situation. I'm sure they will work with you. Good luck with that thesis.

It's my understanding that after 30 days we will lose hosting here. Our site will not be available anymore. You could keep paying for your membership while you are away, you could move your site to another host, or you could back up your site and reinstall it at a later date.

Perhaps other folks may know more about this than I do.

Thank you so much! I will read your posts.

I believe you can just temporarily cancel your membership on hold through the account settings tab under your profile picture.

Thanks so much for your answer. That's what I want to do. :D

I want to promote WA with my friends on Facebook. I'm afraid that my friends on Facebook don't like WA and will judge WA and me. How can I overcome this? Please give me advice.

Why not just invite them to like your page and if they are interested may take it further

I recommend going ahead with promoting on Facebook.

I also suggest not sounding like a sales pitch. "If you want to become a bazzionaire over night like me then I've got just what you need ..."

The approach I take is to tell my story. "Ya know, I have always dreamed of making money with my own website but I had no idea how to do it.

I started by reading books and looking online for information. I studied hard and when I thought I might try a site then I summoned all the courage I could muster and made the plunge. I started a site called grampamike.com but it was a total disaster.

That was a year ago and I was so frustrated. I couldn't find my site on a Google search. There were no visitors. What a waste of my time. I felt horrible and wanted to give up.

I went back to the drawing board. In my search for online resources I ran across this outfit called Wealth Affiliate. Yea, sure, another online scam. I thought about it and figured why don't I go through their 10 free lessons and see if they were legitimate. How impressive. I learned so much in just 10 free lessons. The Wealthy Affiliate lessons turned out to be just what I needed to launch my online career on the right foot.

My site is doing great now. If you are interested in starting your own online business then check out the free lessons and see what you think." ("free lessons" would be highlighted with a hyperlink and linked with your WA affiliate link)

My point is just be yourself and tell your own personal story. That interests people more than a sales pitch.

Good luck.

NuMai.. Go ahead and promote. I tell you, had I known about WA sooner, it would had save me almost 20K. Oh and you are not going to be alone, now that I know about it. am promoting it too.
Love your smile...

You can use phases from my FAQ page if you want to give answers on questions, or for explanation http://workathomefuture.com/wealthy-affiliate-faqs

If your friends "bad mouth you" for promoting your site on Facebook or any other social media, are they really your friends? Friends support each other. Just my opinion. Good luck NuMai.

Great point Larry.

A little faith in yourself, and know that WA
has proven itself for about 10 years.
Just do it you will win. :-)

Just believe in yourself and put it out there. That's what I did and I was worried too, but now I simply am doing business. If they do not like it they can just skip on to the next post :)

Thanks for your answer. I believe that WA is the best for people who want to make extra income but I'm scared that my friends will judge me and tell me that it's a fraud. What should I tell them?

Tell them the truth, you know we are anything but a scam. Send them to your review :) I would make your own WA page, I have one and do my posting there

NuMai, WA has proven itself for about 10 years
That is what you tell them.

You could just tell them that it's FREE to try it out. No credit card is even asked for. What have they got to lose? Just their money worries, IF they WORK at it...

If I'm not making money from my website yet, would it be too early to start promoting WA to my Fb friends?
Also, would it be better to create a WA Fb page or just share on my personal timeline?
Thank you.

I have a page myself. It is never too late to promote anyplace really.

And never too early?

Well, it can be too early if you do not have the training to do so

Sorry, but I'm a bit confused.
I understand what you are saying about training so that we learn how to share on social media more effectively, but at the same time Kyle also encouraged us to start sharing about WA during the bootcamp training.
So back to my initial question, is it wise to share even before we have achieved monetary results to prove our success? (actually, even as I ask I think I already know the answer).
Should I regard the Bootcamp sharing as part of the learning process and as training progresses we then become better at sharing on social media?
Thanks again.

Gotcha, it is I who did not read your question correctly and for that I am sorry. Yes, by all means share and recruit. You will get sales and then that will not matter. Until you get the sales just tell the truth about what you know about WA and let the chips fall where they may. Part of the training is sharing, and social networks are very important in today's marketing. I would by all means keep following the training. :)

Thank you, Shawn.
I appreciate your patience in answering my questions. :)

Hello,

I'm wondering if you are making real money with Wealthy Affiliate. Please let me know. Thanks so much.

Mai.

I managed to get a few folks here at WA to disclose that they are making a full time living at affiliate marketing so I created a post on my WA profile. Hope that helps.

How much is real money?

Yes, we earn real money, some of us earn a lot, others less. It all depends on how much work you put into it. If you treat like a business and do the hours, you will earn real money.

Hi NuMai, I wonder if you could clarify a ballpark figure you had in mind with your description of "real money". As with any sales role in any discipline, revenue is a byproduct of satisfied customers. But I agree with what I think is your underlying intent, i.e. no salesperson would last long in a job if they weren't producing. To take that attitude with ourselves means questioning our revenue goals and progress relative to plan. Thank you so much for your time.

Your journey will always be different to anyone else's journey. You're in the right place to learn how to start making money. Solve other people's problems and you're half way there. ~Marion

yes, I'm making. For more info, read my blog post

i agree with Ken - first look at offering a solution and secondly type in success stories above in the menu bar

For the record, many people (myself included) are making varied amounts of money here from online affilate marketing. WA is by far the best way to earn money online and the community here is so supportive at no charge to you.

Yes almost every day
But Mai, you should not make it about the money.
See how many people you can help, the money will happen.

Yes.

Are you making real money with wealthy affiliate?

Books about online business said we can make money by writing and selling an e-book and it's a fastest way to make money online.

Blogging with WA is a slower solution but

My personal opinion would be to launch your blog, build an audience around your blog and then launch your book there.

This will give you an audience to sell to and also help you hone your writing skills and knowledge around your niche.

Hope you're doing well at WA NuMai. Send me a Pm anytime ;)

Chris Lee

Before you write an eBook you need to know a lot about your subject. Usually from first hand experience not by rehashing other people's writing. Learn and do as much as you can before you try teaching. Just my opinion. Learn... do... teach. ~Marion

Hi Marion, Thanks so much for your comment. Do it before teach it. That's a good quote! I appreciate your advice. I will do blog first. Please watch me. :D

Following you now Mai. :-)

Start with WA...Test, seek & receive as much feedback as possible, get more feedback, keep testing.......etc...Then make decision to begin a draft of an E Book....(Learn, Study, Test, Feedback.....U want to insure authority prior to publishing an E Book...By testing, learning and feedback WA, you can arm yourself with massive information before U "tell it to the world"...

Thanks so much EdwardLove. You are right! But I can write an e-book by reading and collecting information from books, magazines, blogs, google.com... The only thing I don't have is real experience. What do you think?

1. easy to write e-book,
2. sort of easy to give away ebook free,
3. selling lots of ebooks for lots of money...?not so easy

Education can replace personal experience....Just keep in mind that it takes MORE education from multiple sources if you are replacing experience...BELIEVE that you can be an expert by obtaining as much "well rounded" information as possible...If you will tell me what you want to write an E-Book about, I may be able to offer some suggestions on how to gain the "personal Experience" that you would need to consider yourself an expert. Feel free to send me a private message, and I will try to help...You can gain " personal experience" for ANY niche you desire to be an expert on.. "E-Books" provide INFORMATION to someone that needs or wants it... As long as you gain "good information" and "more information" than your reader, you will have a winner :-) :-) :-)

What is the book which changed your life?

Both my brother and I were taught to read before we were two. We have both been avid readers all our lives, we are never seen in our homes more than three feet from a book. Everyone of them has changed my life in some way

The 4 hour work week by Tim Ferris. Yeap, that's a goal of mine. That's my end game!!!!!
Regina

The Secret by Rhonda Byrne and The Magic by the same author, made all the difference in my life.. I chose to change my life for the better.

"Shift Your Mind, Shift The World"
