I just was awarded a badge for being in the Top 200 Weallthy Affiliate Ambassadors.
The wealthy Affiliate Site Ambassador raking is based on yyour Interaction on WA. t Looks like I've been busy lately.
ou can earn points by helping people too and you will gain rank by doing various tasks which I like to try and do each day.
These tasks are;
- Welcoming New Members
- Congratulating New Premium Members
- Answering Questions.
- Chatting in Site Chat
- Blogging
- Creating Training
- Commenting on others blog posts
- and other Interaction within the platform.
Now, I have to say, that as much as these are great goals, it can sometimes be a shame to see people abuse it by answering questions with an 'I dont know' or something completely Irrelevant to the Question because they are more concerned with getting Ambassador points than actually trying to help people.
Unfrtunately, this is what damages the excellent features at Wealthy Affiliate.
Questions that have not yet been answered and are better left unanswered until someone has an appropriate answer and not just token service for the points with spamm answers.
Think about it this way;
You post a question that ou need to find the answer to.
I come along and post a spam answer just so that i can get the points. I say something like 'I dont know. But I hope you find the answer you're looking for'.
Now your question is NOT Unanswered. So, it doesnt come to the top of the list of questions for other helpers to see straight off without having to scroll down.
Now your chances of getting the answer you need are lowered as not many people see your question, thanks to me.
So, please folks, before you go shooting off stuff you know nothing about, please think!
Dont ruin it for others please!

Hopefully, more members will realize that an answer is important.
Getting everyone on board with how the system works.
I think people just sometimes feel "a pat on the back" works the way in the digital world.

Well, I like to try act online as i would in the real physical world. If someone in the ub kept butting in a conversation to utter pointless drivel, then their place in the community would not be a good one. Same rules apply

One problem on the Internet is that you don't reflect anymore (if you don't know and aren't paying attention).
You have to write what you have deepened.

I feel fortunate because I've asked questions and always got answers. I would not like it if people just said they didn't know just to rank.
Thanks for bringing this out in the open. Hopefully a lot of people will take note.
Btw, congrats on making it to the top 200. I've been there a few times, but never stayed for long.
