What is the difference between a home page and a landing page? Should I have both? are they both attached to the domain? I want an informative website, but also a page with onl

Hi!
The landing page is where a person puts in their name/email to subscribe to something.
Hope this helps...

The first page of a website is the Homepage. You can click on the link to go to the home page.

The landing page is a page that pops up a few seconds after you are on a site for obtaining your email by offering something for free like an ebook. And you need to either cancel the landing page of fill in the info before you can access the home page again.

Not all websites use the word home anymore so the first link on your menu - usually at the top of the page, is your home page.

Thank you for answering!
So when i set up my website template, should i choose one that shows all the information on the site as most do, or choose the template that has a background picture and then just the box for filling in details? I like it when you go straight to this page and the only option is an interesting sounding free report. Personally I find the pop up boxes that you have to close very annoying and i seldom fill them in.

I do not like those pop-up boxes myself. I've seen some sites here where they have only one page, and you keep scrolling down with ads on the sides.

The courses teach differently though. So I cannot give you advice on which is better, but you can do the research for yourself.

WA says you need a review page where all your ads are concentrated and then let all remaining pages link to the review page where possible.
