Hello, Just wondering if when blogging/posting if we are supposed to keep it to the content of what our own niche is? Or do we just blog/post whatever you find interesting? Thank

If you type "write Blog posts" into the search box above, you will se another tutorial , written by Donna about writing tips for blog posts.

This will also help you out:

Thank you Marine, for this link.

Yes, your posts need to be related to your niche. Writing about something else will confuse people about the purpose of your site.

If you are posting on a niche, I believe you should post related to that. You can add pages to it for off-topic posts. That way they won't be confused.

Thank you!

Have you ever wondered how long it would take you to finally get all this that is envoled with WA. So much to learn and sometimes I get very confused, then it will come to light,

It all unfolds eventually. Just be consistent and never quit.

Bishop

Since I have been here I have learned so much but I still wonder when i'll finally - get it
Only comes with time and experience

We have just touched the surface.. Its not something I could take in one week -it takes time to understand but it will all come together

Yes, it is a very long journey. The last week has been very agonizing for me, because plug-ins are very hard to deal with. Too many requirements or not enough features and we have to deal with many lists of plug-ins. Which to choose?

One day at a time and lots of notes on "Rapid Writer"--You'll get there! Good luck.

It's called the learning crisis. It's hard but it means you must be learning. Which is not good, but GREAT. :) Soon enough everything will become clearer and the pieces of the puzzle will come together seamlessly.

Thanks everyone! !

Yep, I've felt like that and still do some days. Just take it at your own pace and if you don't understand something, go over it again or ask for help.

Ya iv had to go over most of it over and obey again ugg

Hi NS4701,like you said. lol
Barry

Have patience. Everybody has their own pace to learn things. The biggest thing here is to never give up. Keep at it, and you will get to where you want to be!

Thank you for the encouragement

"This is to much reading to do right now, I will look at it later"

This happens to me all the time. We are overloaded each and every day with information. Coming at us at al

Short paragraphs are easier on the eye

Yes we agree, small paragraps make a bit difference in keeping interest alive.

1. We find ourselves scrolling down to see how long the blog or question is.
2. We then read the first couple of paragraphs and if the blog or question grabs our attention, we read the rest.
3. If it's not THAT interesting, we just skim through most of it.
4. If it's not at all interesting (which doesn't happen that much, thank God), we just go onto the next thing.
5. At the end, if you have a ready answer that's great, if not then reading the other answers often gives you the answers you seek.

I actually phase out I stare right through what I'm reading if there is too much text. I'm not sure if it's a concentration issue or what.

Some sites have a wall of text with no images whatsoever, I find them very hard work.

Yes me to

I've actually become aware that half way through reading something, I've not taken a word in and have to start over. It can be most infuriating, but I find broken up text with some images easier to follow.

I hear you, I feel the same!

When confronted with a screen full of small & close knit text I get disheartened especially if it's technical & not of much interest. I use to persevere but have now taken the stand that I don't have the time & move on.

A shame really as many of these could have valuable nuggets! :)

Thank you

Thsnk you

Good advice. Most of us seem to just skim the websites to see if it has the info we are looking for or anything of interest. I think it is important to keep that in mind.

Thank you

great thoughts,

do you have an example of your own to share!

Do you mean examples of crazy websites that are clustered
