An Unexpected Surprise
Well, I made a discovery today which you may or may not already be aware of. When you’re choosing themes to construct your website, be sure to check to see if they offer a Pro version. What that means is that you will have to pay to have full functionality of your theme.
For example, I wanted to change the font color in my header in the theme I’ve chosen. I tried and tried to no avail. I finally broke down and contacted IT who advised me to contact the theme manager. When I did that, I was informed that the function I was looking for was only available in the Pro version. So now I’m debating as to whether or not I should pay for the upgrade or change my theme .
Truthfully, at this point, after all the other aggravations I’ve experienced, I’m leaning toward just paying for the upgrade and be done with it. It is an unexpected expense but I really like the way the theme looks and I’ve already spent way too much energy getting it arranged the way I want to start all over on a new one.
Not only that, but what other functions am I going to need down the road that I won’t have unless I upgrade?
So just a little nugget of advice, check to make sure your theme doesn’t offer a Pro version or you may get in the middle of something and not have the functionality to complete it.

We had not thought about this, so thank you for bringing it to our attention.

It means go to your wordpress site>appearances>cusomize > additional css
Here you can add commands to adapt your stylesheets

I went through the same problem of choosing a theme and not being able to use the full functionality of the theme and it really frustrated me !
It's so deceptive because what you see is as the sample page is what you get with pro version....
From my experience, some themes don't allow you to change fonts or colours etc. so you have to choose a theme that allows you to do it...
I didn't purchase any PRO Versions since I was still experimenting on various themes (and I still haven't gone Pro)
I think I came across some themes that gave you full functionality without going pro
Could you let me know what themes they are? The support I'm getting for the Pro version I bought sucks. They were Johnny on the Spot when I asked questions pertaining to the upgrade but now that I'm having issues, all I hear are crickets. Two emails so far with no response. Thanks
let me try and see which ones they were...
