10 TIPS to Balancing A Full Time Job and Your Own Biz
Is anyone else like myself, working a full time job and creating your own business too? It can be very overwhelming ! Do you have those days where you want to scream ,how can I balance all of this?
10 tips I thought I would share after 46 days of doing both gigs full time!
1--I created a daily checklist for my self care and personal life that will keep me going through it all and for the long haul. Adding meditation, play my puppy, read...even if it's for 10 mins!
2--I created a daily checklist for my business-- most important learn & execute
3--30 minute timer set a day to do social media part of the business. I did have to focus on a few of them as can't do it all and that's ok.
4--Connect with 10 people a day on each of my social media platforms
5--Post 1 time a day on each social media platform
6--Schedule time every day in my calendar to write and work on content
7--Schedule 3 times a week to post content to my website
8--15--20 mins a day for reading or watching a learning video on WA
9--Connect with 10 people a day on WA
10--Comment or post 1 time on day on WA
Hope these tips help as I know it helps me to align my day around my full time job and still be able to feel great progress and moving my own business forward!
Good luck everyone and keep on learning and doing!!

Thanks! It's an awesome way to plan your day. Will apply it too, as I'm working full time and it's really overwhelming at times to manage things.
That's an excellent checklist to stick to! I too work a full time job and have other activities outside of work too so it can definitely be a challenge to find the time to work on things here at WA, but I do have a daily task list that I usually try to stick to as much as possible.
This is excellent, putting into practice some of the things we mention on the site, with more personal ones thrown in to marry them all together, well done. I have a similar system, well half of yours, the trouble is me keeping to it, when I do it is brilliant.

Good stuff! Without a plan, I find the days, weeks and months pass by quickly and I have little to show for it.
