This appears to be done at the domain name registration level so if your domain name is a dot com then it already has the Domain Name System Security Extension in place.

Of course, Domain Name System Security Extensions only protect the integrity of domain names. Your individual website needs additional protection from would-be hackers at the server level and/or via a plugin. I use Wordfence.
