Hi guys, how can I make a page which contains a clickable summary of all the reviews of a product that I made?

It's all about setting up your menu.

Go to
Admin panel
Appearance
Menu
Select desired menu
click on "custom link", replace "http://" with "#" and add your title (e.i. Reviews)
click "add to menu"
then add posts from the post section (this has to be done everytime you add a new review)
re-order as desired
save menu

You are ready to go

Good luck

Gus

thanks. I'll keep that in mind. :)

You are very welcome!

What Craig (Labman) said. If you're not sure about links then this may help

thank you Marion. :)

You would create a bulleted list and pages that will be your destination pages.
Then you will link the items on the list to their destination pages using the chain icon at the top of the edit window.

thank you Labman. :)

Hi guys I just wanna ask if how can I make a page that consists the other pages that I made? Example if I have a review page how can I put several reviews in that page to make

I'm not sure I understand your issue precisely but I'll take a shot at an answer. If you simply want to make the "Review" page on your menu non-clickable so it will not show up as an empty page, follow this guide: If thats not what you were looking for then perhaps you need to make sure you have assigned your individual reviews as sub items to your parent "Review" menu

Hope this helps

Wow. I think this is the answer. Thank you very much sir. :) Best of luck to you.

This can be a page with list of your pages, each of them linked to your pages. Or you can make a page with clickable images linked to your pages.

Yes sir. I think you got it right. You see what I'm doing now is making a review page then making bunch of reviews that would be under the review page. The problem is when you click review page itself it's empty.

how do you make a page with clickable images to your other pages?

See here

here it is Ralph. Check it out. :)

Hi guys, I need help. How can I make a certain page be the default page of my site or landing page of my site as you visit it?

1.On your word-press admin menu go towards the sidebar menu and choose 'Appearance'.

2.Next choose 'Customize'.

3.You should appear on a customization page. Now depending on your type of menu look for 'static front page' and click.

4.Finally, it should transition towards another menu where you can choose to set your "homepage" with either latest post or a static page/home page.

From there just choose which ever page you like.

I did what you instruct me. But what happened is the title of the page appear but the content doesn't. It says "it seems we can't find what you're looking for. Perhaps searching can help"

Hey Sekhem don't have to worry I got it now. Thank you very much for the help. I really appreciated it. :)

Is it okay to have a very long content? I've checked the other sites who cater the same niche that I chosen and the content that I prepared is way much longer than what they ha

I think as long as you break long content up into smaller chunks with suitable sub-headings it is absolutely fine. Good content is good content and google likes good content. However, if some of your content rambles and you could say it in fewer words, do it.

Yes Erica I certainly did that. I broke it up into 15 topics. What I'm trying now is shorten it up a little bit and I'm thinking of deleting the stories that is within it coz that really is the reason why my content is very long. By the way thank you for answering. :)

-Norz

Find the top 10 sites in your niche or for the main Keywords you are trying to target.

Do a word count of their home pages.

See how yours compares.

Then you know if yours is long enough or not. ( And you can also compare the quality whilst doing this. )

Ok sir, I'll gonna do that. what I checked are just the top two on my same niche and they are way shorter than my content. I'll try to check another 8. Thank you. :)

-Norz

Actually there are statistics that shown that the longer the article the easier it will rank in google(of course it has to be good not just random stuff), so the minimum should be 1000 and the maximum around 3500. if you are interested in reading more about this read this http://www.smartpassiveincome.com/backlinking-strategy-2014-beyond/ it explains how to increase your traffic and talks about word count

Wow. This is is one heck of a long content. LOL! Thanks Torquies. I'll take my time to read it. :D

-Norz

yea you should and if you have time and interest you should check his blog, and backlinko.com you can learn a lot from it.

thanks a lot for sharing. Very much appreciated. :D

Hello,

It would have been informative if you actually told how long it is, because now I expect you have a text of 5000 words?
I think till 1500 is more or less OK, but indeed, my personal opinion is when you cross the 2000 words border then it might become too long and the visitor might not complete reading your text and navigate away...
(I try to have at least 400 - 500 words and maximum 1200 - 1300.
Very important when you create text is also to create the visual attractive aspect: people like some color in your text, some bold, some images here and there (of course related to the topic) but all those little things makes it easier for a visitor to get thru your text...

Grtz,
Bert

Hi bert, thank you for ansering. I haven't count how many lines I have done. I made it first in microsoft word for me to be able to edit it anytime. When you say lines do you mean stanzas or sentences?

-Norz

No, I mean lines and not sentences.By the way I have been mixing up lines and words in my first comment, I will change it...
Yes, but also WordPress displays a number of words.
It is better to focus on words than on lines.

In general people will say: my text has so many words and not my text has so many lines...

Grtz,
Bert

I see... So I have to work with it on WordPress. Bert again thank you very much for helping me clear my thoughts. Very very much appreciated. By the way I'm kinda curious. Why did you chose the word "Ignorant" as your username? It's alright if you don't wanna answer it. :)

-Norz

:-) This is really getting funny, I am going to create a template for this, that I just have to copy paste every time.
But is is really a compliment that so many people ask this...

Well a few days ago, Topachiever has delivered an explanation and I can not say it any better: You have to scroll down a little bit to get to the comment of Topachiever and from there are quite a few ones about my nick... :-)

By the way: as I said in my first comment: this is my personal opinion and I am not the most experienced guy concerning how many words are ok for 1 page, so I hope you will get more answers during the day...

Grtz,
Bert

LOL! Yeah I'll be checking that out. Have to satisfy my curiosity. It's okay it's not really about the expertise it's about the effort of you answering my concern.Thank you Bert.

-Norz

Yes and if you have extra questions about the nick don't hesitate...
There is actually nothing really special behind it except what Topachiever says...

Hi, I have chosen the niche "how to escape the rat race" but before I pursue into that I want to have some of your opinion guys about this niche. Is it okay or is it still broa

I don't really have an age bracket but my target would be the people who are tired of having the 9-5. Thank you for the suggestion Debra. Really appreciate it. :D

Keep in mind that you want to bring in specific people to your site and different people have different understanding of "rat race". Some might feel it is like "keeping up with the Jone's", getting through the turn stiles at the train station at 5:00 or getting through the line at walmart etc...

I would try to think a little more specific. You could try using something along the lines of "nomore9-5ers" or something.

~Debra

I see... What about instead of a rat race I replace it "9 to 5"? Would it be more specific?

Yes, is it going to be a WA site focused on those who work 9-5 jobs?

Yes, but I could think of ways to narrow it. Who is your target audience? 20 somethings, 40 somethings? It's always good to know your target, so you know how to cater to them.
