Testing Positive for Covid 19
Today I just know that I had been away from Wealthy Affiliate Community for 29 days.
What had happened to me?
I know I have so many loving friends here. You all must be wondering where was I since my last blog" Is Covid 19 Real?" which was published on 20 August 21.
I was around a few days after the blog post, then I was gone... misssing in action.
My dear friends. I will relate here the journey I go through for the past 29 days.
We were talking about covid 19. A very hot topics with the pros and cons. Remember?
I am a Singaporean. Since covid struck sometime in late 2019, the border of Singapore and Malaysia was closed w.e.f. 18 March 2020.
4 of my 5 children are on boarding school in Malaysia. As such, my children and I decided to stay put here in Malaysia.
My husband and 3rd son have to be in Singapore on job purposes.
We are separated eversince 18 March 2020 till today 20 Sep 2021.
Testing positive for Covid 19.
How my covid 19 experience begun?
We the Wealthy Affiliate Community here were busy talking about my blog post "Is Covid 19 Real".
On 5 September, I was rushed to Gleneagles Hospital Medini, Malaysia. I couldn't breathe.
My oxygen was only 75. I was given the highest oxygen support @ 15 ltr oxygen per min. The doctor did the PCR Test. After 2 hours, the result was Covid 19 positive Cat.1 stage 4B-5A
I was at the icu stage but the icu ward was full.
At Gleneagles, I started to receive the oxygen support. Then arrangement was made to transfer me to the Malaysian Government Hospital. Before the transfer, the Gleaneagles doctor put medicine into me to broaden my breathing passage.
Never could I imagine I was covid 19 positive because I felt good all the way, except for my breathlessness.
The doctor explain my condition. I was calmed even though I know It's just a matter of life or death for me.
Dear friends,
When I was admitted on 5 Sep 2021, I was in critical condition. The process was, they would give me the oxygen support of 15 ltr oxygen per min for 3 days.
Should my body refused treatment, they will put me to sleep and used the machine to help me.
After 3 days, if there was still no response, then the doc will switch of the machine.
That will be the ending of the life of covid 19 patient Norleila Salleh.
However, with the highest oxygen support, my body responded well.
On 7 September,doc reduced my oxygen supply.
I made a very good progress.
On 11 Sept, oxygen supply is reduced to 3ltr per min.
On 12 Sept doc stopped the oxygen support.
On 13 Sept,the oxygen supply had to be put on again as my oxygen reading was not so good.
On 14 Sept oxygen support removed. Doc monitored me closely.
After 48 hrs of close monitoring I was discharged on 16 Sep 2021.
Now I am home with my grand loving children who have been obediently taking care of me.
They are really supper kids.
Good bye covid 19 . You've given me a grand real life journey.

I'm glad that you have recovered and are doing well friend. I know from the last discussion in your blog, you've mentioned that you think you had the flu. It's a good thing you've got tested. Finding out that it was the virus, Covid 19, must have been scary as you were losing breath. Now that you are back, please take care of yourself and loved ones. Pay attention to any post abnormal symptoms. Great to see you here again. All the best!
I'm blessed. I have a son in Singapore who joined the Security Officer Red Zone. He sees patient dropped dead in front of him.
He ensured that I seeked medical attention immediately when I was breathless.
Yes. The moment I had the oxygen support, it felt so good.
I didn't feel at all I was critical.
Such a beautiful journey I went through.
