Don't neglect your spiritual self... in favor of the business person
While it's true of most of us here at Wealthy Affiliate we are ambitious with big dreams of success and money; we cannot forget where our gifts come from. GOD provides our intellect, drive, ambition, and even sometimes our disappointments.
How much thought have you given to GOD lately?
When things are going well, we take our bows and smile as the applause thunders around us, but do we take a moment to thank God? When things are going badly we retreat into our injured egos and rant and shout with indignation even at God, displacing the blame.
We are intrigued and drawn in by what we can accomplish, seeking out yet new ways to make more money. It brings me to the parable in the New Testament about the rich man:
Jesus said," If you wish to follow me, gather and sell all your possessions and give the money to the poor... it would be easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to get into heaven."
Just some food for thought the next time our egos soar out of control.
Money is currency, the more we have available to us, the more good we can do for others. That's key here, the doing good for others, make sure you give some of it away without the expectation of repayment. That's a beautiful thing! You're reward awaits you in Heaven.
It's Good Friday today and some of you may be wondering what's so good about the day that Christ died on a cross? Because he was selfless and died on the cross for our sins, that we may be forgiven and join him in eternal life one day.
During these 3 Holy Days: (Triduum)
Holy Thursday -- commemoration of the Last Supper including washing of the feet
Good Friday -- commemoration of Christ's journey to Calvary where he was Crucified
Holy Saturday -- We hold vigil with Mary at the tomb in wait of the resurrection on Easter Sunday
Let's be kind in our communications with others, extend what we have to those who have little, and take just a little time to meditate and reflect on the author of our successes!

I admire you so much for your post, Marion. I sometimes don't talk about God as it is a personal thing and some people don't like it, and I also think 'Hm, maybe I should separate God from my business." Yeah, right!! I wouldn't be here without God.
Thanks so much for sharing yourself and your post. :) Happy Easter to you.
Thank you for posting this, Marion! I agree 100%! Whenever I sit down at my PC to work on my site, the first thing I do is pray to God for His guidance. I want His influence on my work. I know that whatever He is involved in it will be a success in His good timing. I do this with everything I set out to do.
Have a blessed Easter!
