"The American dream" - What A "Debbie Downer"
The other day I read an article that stated "The American dream", now as we know, is a lie"! The author went on to say something to the effect we are all are sacrificial lambs for the virus of corporate abuse. As evident by the belief that only corporate profit matters. As evident by the plague that has hit our communities i.e. foreclosures and unemployment. After I had read the article I couldn't help but think what a "Debbie Downer."
Then it occurred to me how important as an entrepreneur to keep the mind focused and uplifted. Recalling an adage “That birds of a feather flock together".Or“If life hands you lemons make lemonade".
If you are a budding Entrepreneur, it can be quite discouraging when you are first starting out, personally I like to surround myself with minds, those that offer up encouragement and mentorship.
At all cost, I try to limit the "Debbie Downer" moments. From what I can tell in my short membership it appears to me that WA provides a nice place for birds of a feather to flock together!
P.S. I look forward to everyone's comments and feedback as I take this journey building website after website with the goal of cashing in on the digital economy!
Regard's,

I mean he's right, but I agree with you.. there comes a point where you have to just disregard it and live your life.. you only have one.
It's like the matrix.. the worm hole goes pretty deep.. and it can be depressing sometimes to become enlightened.

Hi Tirolith, thank you for the encouragement and I hope you are right on! I see by your profile that you are new also, I look forward to seeing your website once you link one to your profile!
I know it's difficult starting out! I know what you mean by Debbie Downer moments. I'm usually very upbeat but there are times when I work so hard and my wife asks me why? She's used to me working for a salary not waiting for someone to purchase something!
I think in the long run you will both be much happier, like any other business its going to be tough for a few years, but the opportunity for personal growth and economic security limitless ... but in direct proportion to efforts and sacrifice.
The internets an amazing business model and I think offers opportunity for all that are willing to take the blinders off.
FYI love your niche! I am not religious but love reading the book revelation, good blog and congrats on 38 years with your lovely wife!
I have the same issue. I'm stuck in the middle of a bunch of people that think I should be "working for a living" I have old equipment that doesn't work half the time and my sound only works when it wants to. But I keep plugging along.

There's always a bit of a balance between being optimistic and being a 'downer'. You're right that focusing on the negative isn't productive at all and it can easily get people stuck in a rut.
However, it is still important to be aware of potential problems and challenges, because being aware helps you to figure out how to get past those issues.
