Siterubix really is the best hosting I have come across. I guess it doesn't matter where you buy your domains, it is just easier to buy them through Siterubix as there is no need to transfer them! :)
I bought my domain names at GoDaddy but WA is cheaper for renewals because they include privacy. As each domain name comes up for renewal I'm transferring it to WA. If I need a new domain name I'll get it here.

There is a 60-day lockout period after a domain purchase or a domain transfer between registrars. During that period, transfering the domain to another registrar is prohibitied. This is an ICANN rule that applies to all registrars and is intended to prevent domain registration fraud.
From ICANN:
"Please note that you may not transfer your domain name to a new registrar within the first 60 days after initial registration, or the first 60 days after a transfer."

I have 3 domains purchased through GoDaddy and have followed instructions to transfer them across approx 48 hours after purchase. I have never had a problem.

I've asked about the 60-day lockout on Carson's thread that you linked to. The ICANN rules may have been changed since the page that I quoted was posted.
