A Soapy Box Rant About "Rights"

Don't you just love bubbles? The Soapy Box Rant About Rights should bubble like hydrogen peroxide on a filthy scab.

The rights of medication administration are like the holy grail for medication administration. The different schools of thought have pinpointed differing number of rights for medication administration. Just to make the issue more muddy, how many rights are there exactly? I will list the common ones, then some additions and then relate it to Wealthy Affiliate with an analogy to help you strategize within your next campaign. If you have followed the rights of administration, the end result is financial wellness as opposed to the relief of symptoms for which you take the prescribed regimen.

5 Rights of Medication Administration

1) Person

2) Time

3) Dose

4) Medication

5) Route

  • ophthalmic
  • otic
  • oral
  • intranasal
  • Buccal
  • rectal
  • topical
  • parenteral
  • subcutaneous
  • transdermal
  • Intrathecal
  • Sublingual
  • respiratory
  • via trach
  • per G-tube
  • ...
  • ...

To expand on these, the right person is verified with 2 patient identifiers, their name and address or birthday. It is critical to ensure 3 times throughout on the med pass. Checking all details as you read the prescription, then verify with what is on hand, as well as again just prior to administration.

The time on the directions is verified, along with the dose and the proper route as ordered. The correct medication must be given to avoid negative outcomes. If anything on the supply on hand does not match the directions precisely, then it must be clarified before passing to a patient.

Now we shall throw some more rights in there, such as the right documentation, signing it off and follow up if is not a routine medicine. Then the right for them to refuse, yes you cannot bribe or threaten hey you better take it or else no treats for you mister poofy cheeks. That is not allowed. The right of refusal may be present with a congnizant individual, but they must also be informed in a language which they understand why it is not in the best interest to go against the Doc order.

This would also be a pertinent time to request the reason for refusal. Hey! It makes my burps taste like rotten eggs and also getting nauseated at the end of every yawn. Whatever the reason this should be reported to the prescriber and a 2 way street of communication always kept open.

There is the right to remain silent if all the talk about rights is not giving you much to say. But there is truly only one right of medication administration that is when all of the rights are true simultaneously and routinely. This is a very extensive task to balance for the many patients.

Now let us consider your doses of marketing to the audience, you're precious followers are the pillars of your success. If we aren't catering to them?

Well that is not right!

First you must identify your ideal affiliate, your best example of a customer, the number one kind of people who would be interested and ready to not only purchase your product or service, but also belong in their hearts and minds to your brand.

Once you have done the #1 identifying (Do we have the right person here), then take a look at least 3x of the other components.

When you make this dosage of helpful information easy to be compliant, then it means the best outcome. The proper dose is calculated toward weight or body mass. How many visitors does the niche you share cater to? Is it a large company you have many connections with, then you may be able to disburse more of the content without info overload/ overdose. Like the spam blocked the potential money pipeline for life.

You have a lesser sized add for the smaller company. Don't risk choking by giving the too big pill of bulky content to swallow. You also have to be sure it's enough to be therapeutic.

Another right of marketing administration is really the proverbial pill that makes the conversion. The right follow-up on this is a great concept to add and share. It is here to help your online conversions. It may soon be a necessary right to reevaluate and pay attention to the conversions that are more frequent which don't cost as much.

That helps streamline all of the Right of Marketing Administration. You can follow best practice and heed advice of experience like listening to the expertise of a specialized expert.

There are generic forms of marketing software which may sound tempting to try out. But Wealthy Affiliate is the name brand manufacturer, with no equivalent substitutions permitted

There are not exactly 5 rights or 12 or even one right way of Wealthy Affiliate members using marketing strategy to promote business. But one true right of marketing administration is to research and take action on your findings.

If a refusal or no follow through of call to action persists, communicate and evaluate why. Maybe the content is not so great, and with just a little input or change in the regimen the side effects will resolve.

Here on my soapy box before I slip off from too many blasted bubbles, I will gladly summarize. You may have different outlined rights for expanding in your region, yet it still has to be taken with a soapy grain of salt. The effort toward following the rights as a marketing tool proves a great return, especially if you consider the analogy for a moment.

Go ahead and try it out. Try expanding best practice to clarify, verify and re-evaluate while following a set of defined rights. It can be more effective if the content is delivered in the right form for the administration to be done correctly. Do you dispense your marketing medicine without calculating the proper dose, selecting optimal time that would be best for your potential clients, or pondering what is right? We can all consider making our right number of rights and perameters for the Rights of Marketing Administration.

Last note on the soap box, when it is this important the rights should not be ambiguous and questionable in numbers. Just as in medicine: a life may depend on this; we can be talking about the life of your business.

Beautiful analogy - thank you so much

Thanks for the post, Becca.

Brian

You are very welcome, Brian🙂

Bubbles are a very enjoyable part of life and living, they always draw attention and they always draw a crowd. If you will ever notice no matter what age group, they will always put a smile on everyone's face because of the fun, laughter and enjoyment that everyone is having.

If you have ever noticed that bubbles present themselves in many different shapes and sizes, colors, groups, and some of them even form together with one another. Why does this happen? Why do they do they perform this action? Because the possibilities of the shapes and sizes of bubbles are endless. Bubbles are like life, living and lifestyles, the possibilities are endless.

You are the affiliate marketer. What is your niche? You might be asking yourself that same question - what is my niche? If you are struggling in the niche area - that's why there is help, to help people decide on what their niche market is. There are two things that everyone has in common, and that is interest and hobbies. Everyone has something that they enjoy doing in their spare time. Every single person in this world has something that they are good at, they enjoy doing it, and someone else has a need and can benefit from it. It doesn't matter what it is, it is something that you enjoy. Write those things down on a piece of paper.

Let's use our imagination here for a moment.

Let's take that paper, and put it into and cup, bottle, bowl. Let's take our imagination turn that paper into the soapy water that creates the bubbles. Let's take our loop an dip it into the soap, let's apply a breath of air and create bubbles.

What just happened? The action that you just performed, was you took action.
You dipped your loop into the soapy water.
you applied a breath of air
you created bubbles
You took action.
You took your hand
you applied it to one of your interest and or hobbies.
That soapy water was your interest and hobbies
You gave those interest and hobbies life which has been spread throughout for everyone to come in and take a look at.
Every bubble is going to have a different shape and size, and everybody has a different interest, so different people are going to go for different bubbles.

You always want to draw in the right audience to the right bubble. Respecting their rights to which bubble they choose to look at is key to repeat clients and the success of your business for your online or offline journey.

If someone comes to your website, and all they do is look around and ask questions and leave. Don't take that as discouragement, always keep in mind, your brain and your stomach work a lot alike. Your stomach has to take some time to process what it is consuming. Your brain is the same way. It needs to take some time to process what it is learning. When a potential client visits your sight, and they ask questions, their mind is processing what it is learning.

Always respecting the best wishes your clients wishes is the best way to keep them, if they wish not to pursue something -- at that time, remember that does not mean they will not be back. Let their mind process and digest what it is learning. Respecting that right, will bring in more clients in the future, because you are letting them know that you are respecting their best interest at hand. That does not mean they will not be interested in the future to come, they just perhaps may want to learn more before they pursue and take action.

When most of your clients visit your website for the first time, they are looking around to see what you have and to see what you are about. Letting them look around is very respectful on their behalf. When you answers any question they may have about a particular topic, that builds a relationship of trust and value. They will have more trust and value for you, when you let them look and answer any questions they may have. Once they are ready to make a purchase, and they see that they are receiving even more value out of that purchase, and you are showing them respect. Your audience is then going to begin to grow. Something to always keep in mind, a small purchase may not seem like a big purchase at the time, but a small purchase leads to trust and value, which leads to a larger purchase in the future, which leads to the building of an audience, which leads to the naming of a brand or product. When you go out of your way to fulfill and comfort their needs and their desires, a brand - your brand is beginning to take form and develop into and success business.

Once a purchase is made a follow up is always very respect, so see how they are doing with their purpose, to make sure they are at comfort with their purchase.

Thank you Nurse Becca, for educating and teaching us on the value of a clients rights. Respecting their rights adds value.

Sincerely,
Ronnie

Dear Ronnie,
Thank you for your poetic response. I have found myself in the land of Monsanto. Soda Springs a sleepy little town I found a cozy spot for a nap after work this morning. I am rather thankful to be completing the infusions tomorrow and making my way back to familiar scenery. The car is nice a fun travel blog. It needs big time editing, so it may be a little while. But I will like to name it my Cross, I think.
This trip has been stressful getting everything coordinated in a flying by kind of way. That makes is difficult, but remaining flexible does not have to mean giving up on effort of organizing.

I enjoyed your bubble reply!

These bubbles fascinate me because the whole thing seems impossible to have bubbles floating there. The surface of a the bubble has the transparent canvas of an invisible artist. Almost like a minute magician set to make an extravagant animated painting only for it to burst when the invisible paint brush strikes with too much gusto... or a breeze carries away to alight on a branch in an unlikely suspension that is apparently temporary but seems immortal for a brief instant before poof, it's gone.
I am sorry it takes me so long for an answer, but please know I click like at the same time as beginning to think of a response. You have systematically made a positive comment to 37 of my blogs. Just kidding!:););) I don't know the number but the point is it cheers me along and makes me feel like a million bucks to have this support. I don't think I can thank you enough.
But I will keep on trying; thank you kind sir. Bless your big heart.

Standards rule!

It can be a like a 'Chain of custody' or, as it used to be known over here, BS5750 later replaced with ISO9000. A 'Standard' where every stage of production, from raw material to 'Thank you very much, have a nice day.' can be traced back and forth to make sure everything is as it should be. Accountability, which, if in error must be addressed and redressed so that the end result is the desired one.
Another 'Becca Special' , thank you.

You have a great point. That is the re evaluation that makes the plan an ever evolving improvement

Hi Becca - I also enjoy (prefer) my appt. with the Dr's PA. We always have a nice conversation and last time she wrote down the name of a movie I recommended.
I would like to share a conversation I had with a total stranger at a Christmas dinner party last year. She happened to mention that her brother has been a pharmacist for over 20 years, and he wanted to get of it in the worst way. I asked why and she said it was because he was tired of trying to catch the harmful combinations of drugs that were being prescribed by different doctors to the same patient. So my question is should this situation be "caught" before it gets to the pharmacist?
All the best to you,
Jay

The process should catch it before that, yes but if there is no collaboration between providers that can be very dangerous.

I have found that I prefer Nurse Practitioners over MDs, so I am always happier when my doctor is not available for an appointment. I get more time and better engagement on my questions. Plus a prettier face.

Not that I don't see your analogy.

Haha yes, The practitioners are nurses basically with prescriptive authority. Thank you for responding. I was feeling kinda sheepish without a reply for this rant. I was venting because there are discrepancies in the number of rights thus making it more challenging for people to learn. I think if we design and practice our own rights for marketing and advertising, the regimen would be life changing in terms of financial wealth. And if we operate by the rights medically, we are preventing med errors and pursuing good health.
