Hi All! ^^

Err..... Any idea why I shouldn't give my personal email on "privacy policy" page? I have already watch the video... but I still don't get it... Will it harm my

Probably the main reason for not using a personal e-mail address on your privacy policy page is due to the fact that a lot of affiliate programs aren't keen on having an unofficial address like those provided via Gmail or Yahoo, and demand a site specific one instead.

With regards to "myemail@mywebsite.com" - I think you seem to have got the wrong idea entirely about this. That term is merely an example of what your website email address will look like once it's set up. A couple of other examples could be: useremail@personalwebsite.com or directemail@ownwebsite.com - I hope this explanation clears things up for you somewhat.

ive never had an affiliate program say anything about an email address, never even had one care if one was there or not, some just require the privacy policy and maybe a disclaimer depending on the program. I would say the email/contact is more for your visitors than for your affiliate programs.

Hey there, you cannot get a domain specific email with the siterubix sites because they are subdomains. In general though people prefer to have a domain email because it looks more professional.

You dont have to use one though. But I would discourage you from using your personal email because you want to keep your business stuff separate from your personal and yes you can and probably will get some very very interesting spam email no matter what email you list on your site.

I would think about making a new email like yourwebsite@gmail.com or something like that so that you can at least have a set place for that sites communications and it is related to your site =).

Thanks Jean, but how can I set a domain email after I get my own domain?

If you upgrade to premium here you can purchase your own domain from a place like namecheap or godaddy and there is an email creation button here under the siterubix button on the left https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/websites/email

Now if you decide to host your website somewhere, normally whereever you bought your domain from will have an option to create a domain email for you =)

Ok, thanks again Jean. I will try it after I'm being premium...
