Days Like These
The above picture is my standing on my porch this morning. (It's sideways, but I didn't know how to change it! :')
As I look out into the beauty the snow brings as it gently lays its coat of white on my world, I can only think of gratitude! Not only do I get to enjoy this beauty from the warmth of my home, but that I get to view it because it's my choice.
I had the opportunity to choose whether I was going to begrudgingly search for another job providing me freedom on a part-time basis or search for what I love with a full-time lifestyle. I Choose this day!
Because I chose to pursue me, I get to choose whether I want to go out and ruine the beautiful landscape by trudging through it and breaking the miraculous coat of white the Universe has blessed us with.
I get to choose to allow nature to have it's chance of healing the world without my influence. I choose this day!
Because I chose to make my search about me, I get to choose to stay warm nestled in my beautiful home.
I get to make the decision whether what is going on in the outiside world is worth piling layers of clothes and putting heavy boots on. I choose to spare my skin the sting of the chill air or my muscles the fatigue of the shivers. I choose this day!
As I look out on the gently falling snow. I'm grateful to be sitting at my desk, in front of my computer, with my WA affiliates, and writing this post. This is what I am loving right now!
There is NO other place I want to be at this very moment!
That's an amazing feeling!
Doing this Not because someone else forced me, not to get a grade, not to get responses, not to get paid, but because I choose to me in this moment!
