I have applied twice and been turned down both times. I am not sure what I am doing wrong. I do not have any other ads on my site yet, as I am still pretty new. Any tips on

Sorry for that but thanks for following me

Wish you all the best

Couple of possibilities - you say you are new, do you have much content yet? Google wants to see some.

Were you ever part of the program before? If you were and ever clicked on your own ad, Google will ban you for life.

Thank you. I have never been part of the program. The only affiliate link I have so far is Amazon. I have 10 articles posted on my blog so far. www.atripwithaview.com is my site. I have posted it in the feedback area hoping for some guidance but so far I have not received any feedback.

Where can I find free stock photos to use on my site?

Check out this post here:

I recommend using the images from within SiteContent or purchasing stock photos. Most of the free image sites are no longer 'safe' for commercial use.

Hi, Mel. Can you please elaborate on why the free images may not be safe? I use Pixabay for mine. Thank you!
Gina

Yes, many of the free images uploaded to the 'free' image sites were not uploaded with permission from the original creator of the image. This means that the site does not legitimately have rights to the image to distribute. If you read the 'fine print' in the terms & conditions of the site, they do not protect you from a lawsuit in case the original content creator comes after you. You should only use images from a provider that provides you with at least #20,000 in indemnification insurance, meaning that the site assumes liability for the licenses of the image. You won't find indemnification clauses anywhere except image sites that sell the images.

Whoa! That's crazy, and something I never considered. I took it as free is free and never once thought about how someone else could upload another's images. Thanks so much for the valuable information.

You can use the ones offered here in WA by clicking the insert image icon and then typing in a search term. You can also use stock images from the internet, just make sure you follow any copyright requirements and so forth.

Hello,
I am a new member and I am wondering what the copyright rules are on including the product name in your website. For instance, if my site is focused on collectible B

In one word - NO! The merchant will not like it, you will be violating their trademark, and you'll receive a letter from their lawyer within a few days telling you to take the site down.

Mattel actively pursues trademark infringement for that term. Better to stay away. Unless of course, you have a huge budget to take them to court.

That is most likely a trademark violation and you risk major fines or a lawsuit.

If you are affiliated with Barbie, you need to check with the company but I doubt you can use their trade mark. You can promote their products though through your own domain which is not using any trade mark / brand.

My opinion based on what I understand.
