I want to sell my domains on Sedo. What to I list for my domain registrar for my domain that I purchased at WA?

Hi - Enom is the registrar for WA domains.

Hi Diane!

Thank you very much!

Kind regards,
Nichola

You may list your domains using marketplaces like GoDaddy, Sedo, Flippa, and | or Uniregistry. I would follow up on each site's terms and conditions, what you need to look for, and how to make sales. Also, I would use escrow services to avoid getting scammed. They typically charge a fee.

If you have a built site, it is worth getting an estimate and working out your stats so that your buyer | and the bidder can work out their ROI. And to prove authenticity and transparency.

Or you may employ brokers to sell your domains; they also charge a fee.

Good luck with whatever you do.

What is the process for selling a domain name that I own here at WA?

I want to sell a domain name I purchased recently. I did not create a website on it at all. I want to sell it because there is another business in the us with the exact same name. I went to GoDaddy and when I entered the domain name it says that it is not registered to my gmail account and asks if it is registered under a different account. Why is this happenning and what can I do?

You can list on marketplaces like Flippa, GoDaddy or Sedo.

Hi, Nichola, if you haven't yet verified your domain ownership, did some training a while ago that may help: Best wishes.

Hey Nichola,

Here's a tutorial to help you verify your website with Google: Should you prefer another training tutorial on this topic, please see screen print below... to see how to access them.

Hope you find this helpful.

Hi Trish,

I appreciate your help. Thanks for the valuable information and the link.

Much success to you!

Kind regards,
Nichola

Hi Nichola,

Hope that you are keeping well.

I see that you have various useful answers here. To me, it depends on whether you want to stick 100% with the training, which I encourage you to do, so it means that somewhere in the training it is explained. Sorry, I can't say exactly where because it's been a long time that I have learned it.

I have been using Yoast SEO for quite a while because they have some features that are included that I like using, and loads of training. Unfortunately, it is an extra plugin that you may but want to add to your website, so I don't want to lure you to go that route, but if you are interested, this guy Israel explains the process of verifying your site using Yoast SEO very well ~~> Hope this helps and do not hesitate to explore some of the suggestions that others have posted for you too.

And if you are still having a problem, contact Kyle. He might even be reading your question here and will come to you rescue.

Best wishes,

John

Hi John,

All is well! Thank you!
I appreciate your help. Thank you for the link!
I guess I will wait and complete it via the training.

Much success to you!

Kind regards,
Nichola

install yoast seo plugin free, they have a tutorial that walks you right through the whole process , i have done it 6-7 times and still forget how to do it , yoast plugin makes it dead simple for adding analytics to, to your success.

Hi Rick,

I appreciate your help. I used that plugin to verify my domain on another website that I have. Thank you!

Much success to you!

Kind regards,
Nichola

You can verify using Google Analytics. Set up a GA acct (or go to your GA acct), copy your GA ID#, go to your Dashboard --> All in One SEO --> General Settings --> paste your GA ID# in the designated box and save. Then go to Google Search Console & select Verify using Google Analytics.

Hi Cris,

I appreciate your help. Thank you!
Much success to you!

Kind regards,
Nichola

Your welcome. I know it wasn't the direct answer you were looking for, but it's easy that way :-) Hope it helps you.

I have done a verification using Google Analytics before. I was not sure how WA does verification. Thanks!

Why bother? Google will get to you, but meantime...you 'know' that you have purchased your domain name through WA; and you 'know' that you own it. So... why waste time on that when you could be doing something productive to contribute to your earning ability? Just a thought. Hope it helps.

Hi Lisa,

I appreciate your suggestion. Thank you!
Much success to you!

Hi Nichola, here is the link to training that covers your question.

Hi Graham,

Go to your website and follower all direction that it will give you to follow and then go to your email and follow that link back to your website. After this, all should be good to go.

Hi Myles,

I appreciate your help. Thank you!
Much success to you!

Did you get your subdomain changed to your domain name?

Hi Brenda,

No, I did not do that. I had a free domain then I bought a domain and did the switch over. Thanks for your response!

Much success to you!

I want to register a domain and use it for my site. Should I do this now before I start adding content to my new site? I am presently using the free site offered in the trainin

Hi Nichola,
Yes! Then it will truly be yours! And it shows that your are serious like JWhite below says.
Donna

Hi Donna,

Thank you for your help!

You are most welcome:)

Yes my dear sister! There is pride in owning and it shows your committment to how serious you are with what you are doing!

John, I appreciate your help.

Im sure you are here for a longhaul. Get a domain when you are ready financially!!!

I appreciate your help Tom.

If you are still in straining this will probably be one of your next steps for sure. As Kyle has us start on the free site then in the first week he has you move it to a Domain that you own. I would just follow the training step by step.
Hope this is helpful.

Stacie, thanks for your great advice!

No problem at all 😊

Yes, like all the answers below already suggested be professional and start with your own website
Have a great day

Good Luck

Hi Teo,

Thanks for your help! I do hope that the domain I want is still available. Thank you! All the best on your journey here at WA!

Kind regards,
Nichola

Absolutely. Always do so for a new site.

Thanks Marshall!

You can't have a new site without registering the domain first.

Unless you start off with a free one. This has two problems.

1. You may not be able to get the same name as the one you used for the free site. So you've already got an identity crisis.
2. You'll have to go to the trouble of transferring your content from the free one to the new one.

To be professional, always register the domain first, point the dns to WA then build your site out.

Hi Phil,

Thanks for the great advice! Yes, I am presently using the free domain offered in the training. I hope that I am able to get the one that I want then I will have to do the transer.

Kind regards,
Nichola

Hi Nichola, just a personal opinion, if you are looking to make a commitment to creating an online presence.

Buy that Domain name yesterday, before someone buys it today.

Alex

Yes Nichola ...

Any new site (project) starts with a new domain name ... That's the first step. You need a domain name to create a site ...

Hi Zsolt,

Thanks for your help. I am presently using the free domain offered in the training.

Once you have purchased your own domain, you can easily move your rubix site to the new domain (if that's the goal)

Hi Zsolt,

That's my intention. I appreciate the link! Thank you!
