Quote of the Day:

“Do not fear mistakes, there are none.” Miles Davis

Meaning of the Quote:

Mistakes are really not errors. They are moments that allow us to stop or slow down and learn from. Then we can move forward with that new education.

Discussion of the Quote:

Very often, we all claim that we have made mistakes. To err is human, but we don’t have to beat up on ourselves for the mistakes we think we have made. However, as the quote states we should never be afraid of making them - Why? There are really no mistakes in life. They are moments which we can learn and become different from, then continue along.

So go ahead, the more learning moments we have the closer we are to achieving our learning process and so enter the stage of completion of our endeavors in life. What we consider mistakes are moments of learning and becoming more so that we can move closer to the goals that we have set for ourselves.

Final Thoughts:

Don’t be afraid to make mistakes! There are really none in life. They are moments in time that we have to stop and take note of things that are worthy of our attention and understanding then we can continue along on our journey. Very often what we call mistakes are the very moments that we later look back on as the most defining moments in our lives that built the contents of our characters.

Additionally, mistakes are really telling us that we need to pay close attention to specific things. Therefore, we have to stop and complete the learning and development process so that we can be better equipped to handle whatever we have to face in the future. When we put our learning in practice, there will be changes in order for us to become more resilient and knowledgeable as we move forward.

I appreciate your time, comments and likes.

To our success

Kind regards,

Nichola

Filling up our character so we can stand on the mountain tops of our lives. Every learning counts when we don't just let it slip by like something swiftly floating by us in the stream of our life. Better snatch it up, and take a closer look. it might be a message in a 'bottle' with your name on it!

Thank you, Nichola, with every post and you are throwing out lifesavers, check ups from the heart up, check ups from the neck up, and to look inside of ourselves to understand how and why we ourselves do the things that we do.

And I'm gong to also throw in the tongue, because that little rudder can cause massive damage.
Better to stow it,
don't stick it out there and grow it.
Best to not speak any angry words,
because they are not sweet,
and you might have them to "eat" live with their memory, even reminded by others of them,
or haunted by the wreckage for a very, too long time.
Or the harsh words of others directed at you.
Same lesson, pay attention! Submit and "get it."

Thank you, Nichola, i value you greatly!

Yes, I agree with Putting the learning into practice. I can't think of how many times I keep trying or doing something I know nothing about and end up making a mistake. The Learning curve never escape me or anyone. When you reach the level of master then your mission is done, but you can look back and what errors you made just to get to that level of mastery then share your experience with others. Helping them not to make the
same errors. Along with getting and reaching their goals a lot better.

Hello Nichola
Appreciate your words of wisdom.
Whist taking the time to read this post, I am reminded of the Taoist philosophy which has a similar perspective to "mistakes." It views mistakes as "opportunities for learning." This thought alone can really help to transform how we respond to our life's lessons and what we're continuously learning from them.
