Discussion of the Quote:
Indeed, the heart is wiser than the intellect. The intellect knows things related to our intelligence but the heart knows all things beyond intelligence.
More importantly, the heart deals with wisdom of all kinds while the intellect deals with concepts, ideas and logic. The heart feels and knows all things while intellect knows only what was taught to it and nothing more. However, the heart was not taught but yet it is all knowing.
Final Thoughts:
The heart relates to emotional intelligence while the intellect is connected to analytical intelligence. The heart is all about meanings. The meaning of compassion, love, empathy and emotions. However, the intellect or the mind is concerned with logic, facts, evidence and reasons. To enjoy the fullest of life, there is the need for a perfect relationship of both heart and mind.
The heart’s wisdom shows us our connection to the whole. However, the intellect allows us to grasp complex ideas and a breath of knowledge that science alone cannot provide. “Our heart knows what our mind has forgotten - it knows the sacred that is within all that exists and through a depth of feeling we can once again experience this connection, this belonging.” Llewellyn Vaughan-Lee. The heart knows all truths while the intellect dwells in understanding.

Great post. I remember decisions I made choosing between heart and mind. It’s tricky to know the best way, but we have the ability to look back at our decisions and adjust them in the future.

Religion is a thing of the heart. The logical, analytical mind of mind finds it difficult to wrap its hands around the concept of God it can not see or touch. Most women have no need for such rationalizations. They just believe with their hearts.
Could this be the reason why there are many more women than men in churches? I wonder.
