Sad Words or Happy Words!
Quote of the Day:
“For of all sad words of the tongue or pen, the saddest are these: “It might have been!” John Greenleaf Whittier
Meaning of the Quote:
Let not “It might have been!” be the saddest words by pen or tongue. Instead, we can easily turn them into happier words: “I have achieved it!” or “I took a chance and it worked out well!”
Discussion of the Quote:
“It might have been!” should not be the words we want to say or write. Rather, we should be able to speak or write more meaningful or happier words like: “I achieved my goals.” “I succeeded!”, “I began it and I finished it.” or “I did it!”.
Let not our lives be filled with sad words. Instead, we should live our lives to their fullest potential and not live lives of regrets. We can stretch ourselves, challenge our potentials and live lives of great achievements even though they may be mixed with some failures.
Final Thoughts:
Let not the words of our tongues or pens be the saddest of our words. But rather, our words should be words of accomplishments, goal achievements, about fulfilling our potential and more. Also, we should have happy words of joy, gain, of great relationships so that we have the happiest of words by tongue or pen.
However, no matter how hard we may try to avoid sad words; we will all have some sad words by tongue or pen because it is just the way life is. We will have happy words but we will also have sad words in our lives of broken dreams, unaccomplished goals, failure to go after our goals and dreams, of lost and other sad incidents in our lives.
I appreciate your time and your comments.
To our success!
Kind regards,
Nichola

" It might have been," strikes me as a missed opportunity. Those are words of a loser. I do not want to be a loser so I'd rather say," I began it and finished it." or " I succeeded." To ensure I am proactive, I will give every opportunity my utmost so I do not end up saying those sad words.
