When you are able to identify your weakness, then you take the time to work on it day in and day out until it becomes your strength. That’s what defines success.

Discussion of the Quote:

Your weakness can only become your strength by working on it until it becomes a strength and that right there is the definition of success. When you are able to make your weakness in whichever area of your life and make it your strength, you have attained success.

Furthermore, make your weakness your strength instead of saying - I am not good at this or that. The question you should then ask yourself is - How can I turn this weakness - you name it - into a strength. When you can do this well, then that’s success.

Final Thoughts:

Everyone has strengths as well as weaknesses. Success happens when you are able to recognize and accept your weaknesses. You can now decide to learn more, acquire the skills, practice harder so that you can improve your competency in your area of weakness whatever that might be.

One positive sign of a successful person is the ability to discover your weaknesses and then decide how you can overcome them. By so doing, you will pave the ways for your own self development.

More importantly, overcoming your weaknesses is a door to success because you will be able to make your areas of strengths stronger as well as change your weaknesses into strengths. As a result, you will be able to unleash your full potential which will enable you to use it to make you a success in all aspects of your life.

Good post Nichola, our self doubt and fears prevent us from moving on. One must start to believe in themselves and don't allow peoples words to bring them down. Words are very powerful and can make or break a person.
Don't get too comfortable challenge yourself.
By doing this training at WA is a challenge in itself. I have discovered things about myself which surprised me and has made me stronger and quite proud l could achieve these obstacles, even if it's for just me to prove l can do it. So thanks for bringing this to the forefront.

Hi Nichola. Great thoughts. I think the first step is recognizing and accepting our weaknesses. After that it is easier to work on them. Some people stay I denial. I try and work a bit harder/focus on my strengths hoping that this gives me the momentum to carry my weaknesses until I have left them behind or overcome them.

I really enjoyed this thought provoking piece. I spent years in a bureaucratic system wherevI had to be very what I said & how.

I think WA has made me weakness of worrying about making mistakes (because it might have major implications) go away. My creativity has returned. & Im playing to the skills I learnt there.

That sounds like an extreme amount of time waste.

Why turn your weaknesses into strengths unless you have no strengths to excel at first.

Hire people who are strong at what you are weak at... That way you assemble a strong team.

Don't try to arm yourself to do it all...Build relationships so that you are guaranteed to experience exactly the right kind of success.

I was alWAys told that there is no such thing as CAN'T.
That is a defeatist attitude.
If it's something you really WAnt to achieve, don't give up at the first hurdle and say you can't do it.
Face it, stand your ground, overcome the problem and you will succeed and then you'll be able to say I CAN do it.
