Look Inside Ourselves and Awake!

Last Update: October 24, 2021

Quote of the Day:

“Who looks outside dreams; who looks inside, awakes.” Carl Jung

Meaning of the quote:

When we look outside of yourselves, we can only dream of the things we desire and want. However, all that we need is already within, so when we turn inwards, we will be able to tap into our abundance of all things and we become alive to our true selves.

Discussion of the Quote:

We all have the tendency to look outside for all the things that we want or desire in our lives. However, this is the wrong approach. We have to turn inward and awaken the things that we want or desire. So we have to be still to hear our internal voices as they speak to us.

More importantly, our conscious mind commands and our subconscious mind obeys. Our subconscious minds are unquestioning servants that work day and night to make our behaviors fit a pattern consistent with our emotionalized thoughts, hopes, and desires. Therefore, when we are able to tune into ourselves, we become quite awake to what is inside of us and this is the real deal. We are not dreaming; instead, we are experiencing.

Final Thoughts:

Indeed, we have to look inside because that is where the truth of who we are lies. When we turn inwardly, we are not dreaming nor are we asleep to ourselves but rather, we are experiencing ourselves up close and personal. We are alive with ourselves.

On the inside, we are not dreaming of what we can be or what we can do; instead, we are experiencing the reality of who we really are if we would just take the time to tune in and just be silent and listen to our real truths, principles and values.

Furthermore, when we look inside, we get to see the real versions of ourselves of all that we are as well as the possibilities of becoming better versions of who we are. We get to tap into the consciousness that we really are and that is the real power of introspection.

I appreciate your time, comments and likes.

To our success

Kind regards,

Nichola

Thanks for such a thoughtful blog. We definitely need to understand ourselves first before we try to understand others.

Awesome post! The reality of looking inward scares a lot of people because they often remember things and situations that they do not want to face.

Nonetheless, that is the most important part of growth. This how we begin to heal, grow, and flourish.

Wonderful post-Nichola and so true.

When we truly look from within ourselves we start to see the real truth and not the make-believe our Ego thinking mind wants us to believe.
.
We can't hide from this or even deny it regardless if it is good, bad or indifferent it is there regardless.

The question is: What are we going to do about it?

One can try to deny any failings yet if we don't take proper action to address the issue that we know is not the best it will continue to occur until it has been resolved for the greater good.

Often times we tend to blame others trying to avoid the fact it is us who needs to overcome this issue (again the Ego at play) even if we on the surface feel it is not or wasn't our fault that this happened or is continuing to happen.

It can at times be a hard pill to swallow but when we go deep within, the subconscious doesn't lie it is the Ego twisting the truth that creates instability and confusion.

This is the best opportunity to see the real truth and when we see the issue from deep within then rather than blame others or things this is the time to say to the subconscious mind thank you for letting me know.

Accept and acknowledge this and then start to take positive action to address and fix this issue(s).

A case of release and move forward.

Nichola, awesome thought provoking blog
I share your sentiments
I believe that if we step outside ourselves and look at our dreams in another light,
It will be the most powerful thing for us to do
