Discussion of the Quote:
Change is the only constant in our lives. Therefore, whether we choose to change ourselves or not, change will occur all around us. With that being said, it is our individual responsibility to change ourselves if we so desire. When we change individually, we will be able to change the world collectively.
Change can be positive or negative but we can all agree that we rather see positive changes. When this happens, it is like music to our souls; it brings so much joy and contentment to us. However, when the changes are not positive, we still have to make peace with them and move on anyway hoping for changes that will impact us all in positive ways.
Final Thoughts:
We must first work on ourselves when it comes to change. Therefore, self development is vital to bring about a shift in the world around us. More importantly, when we are able to break down our personal barriers, it enables us to be vehicles that can bring about lasting changes.

Thanks for this post about creating change by setting an example...
I'm a firm believer in that if I witness behavior that I don't like, I need to look within. I can then see what I can change about myself so that I don't portray similar behavior.
