"Expect the best. Prepare for the worst. Capitalize on what comes.” Zig Ziglar

Meaning of the Quote:

You should have a positive attitude in life and expect the best that life has to offer. However, you should be prepared for disaster just in case things turn out badly. More importantly, you should make the best of whatever comes your way - good or bad.

Discussion of the Quote:

“Hoping for the best, prepared for the worst, and unsurprised by anything in between.” Maya Angelou. Maya Angelou superbly summed up the above quote by Zig Ziglar. It is important that you have a positive outlook in life. Therefore, you hope for a positive occurrence to happen. However, you have to be mindful that somethings do not always have a positive outcome. So with this knowing, you should be prepared and ready for unfavorable outcome. Hope for the best but expect the worst.

Furthermore, you should be able to use whatever comes your way to your advantage, whether it be good or bad. You should make the most out of the circumstances that come your way.

Final Thoughts:

Absolutely you will be faced with difficult situations in your life. However, you just do not accept them as they come. Instead, you should do something about them and hope for the best that things will turn out in your favor. However, you also know that there is a possibility that they may not. So, you should arm yourself by making preparation to deal with the unfavorable outcomes if they become the only outcome.

I appreciate your time and your comments.

To our success!

Kind regards,

Nichola

Life has many ups and downs. How you deal with them will determine how your outlook ends up. If you let all the negatives get you down then you will lose your way. I learned this the hard way.

Hi, Nichola.

It is nice to hear from you again.

I tend to only go a maximum of three levels deep but prefer to keep it to two for the best results.

Allow me to explain.

There is a plan 'A' that is being offered.

O.K. I might buy in based on what my plan 'A' is.

This means that I will probably need a plan 'C' in case the plan 'A' does not work out which could ultimately have an effect on my own plan 'A.

Nice post.

Thank you for sharing.

Kindest regards from Canada.
Paul Mindra.

Hi, again, Nichola.

I think what I was trying to say was that most people's plan 'A' starts as someone else's plan 'A' and that that is not to say that it should not be followed.

The least back-up should be your own plan 'A" with a plan 'B' in the background in case the original plan 'A' turns sour.

Talk to you again soon.

Best always,

Paul Mindra.

Thanks for the explanation! Wishing you the very best!

Absolutely all good my dear.
Thank you for being.

:))

I have always tried for Plan A in the past but in the back of my mind there always a Plan B, C, D etc. if it didn't. However, if you think about it, in my instance, it is a cop out because I was planning for a failure which may have caused me to pull the plug to early. So I would like to thank you for a very good post and new direction to think in.
