Great Things Are Not Accomplished by Impulse!
Quote of the Day:
“Great things are not done by impulse, but by a series of small things brought together.” Vincent Van Gogh
Meaning of the Quote:
It takes great planning and goal setting as well as consistent action and time in order to accomplish things of great magnitude.
Discussion of the Quote:
Great things are not created in a minute nor by the clap of hands. It takes detailed planning and execution to achieve things of significance. They require massive action that is consistent.
Additionally, with the accomplishment of great things come huge challenges that will be encountered along the way. These must be overcomed so that the achievement process can be realized. Moreover, great things take time to come to fruition. They are not achieved overnight or on an impulse.
Great things gain their births in the imagination. However, they have to find their expression in the real world. Therefore, they are brought to life by planning, goal setting, action taking, managing and resolving challenges that show up along the way.
More importantly, it takes great courage to accomplish anything of significance. You will often fail, and you will want to quit but you have to stay focused and muster the strength to pick yourself up every time you fall. You have to pull yourself through the challenging times and come out on the other side of failure.
