Can You Rise Above Misfortunes?
The following quote is the “Quote of the Day” on one of my affiliate programs “Tip of the Day” page.
“Little minds attain and are subdued by misfortunes; but great minds rise above them.” Washington Irving
Meaning of the Quote:
Little minds dwell on and succumb to misfortunes; however, when great minds encounter misfortunes they find ways to deal with them then rise above them.
Discussion of the Quote:
It is not whether we will encounter misfortunes, it is when. There will always be misfortunes on the journey called life. The question is - how do we deal with them? Some people will allow themselves to hang on to the misfortunes in their lives and allow them to destroy their lives by waddling in them. Therefore, they don't develop the strength or willpower to fight their way out of the misfortunes that fall upon them.
On the other hand, some people do not allow themselves to be destroyed by the misfortunes they encounter in their lives. Instead, they do all within their power to find ways to deal with them and then move on and become better because of the misfortunes they have encountered.
Final Thoughts:
Misfortunes are a part of life. They will come when they will come. We cannot stop them from happening but we can control our reactions towards them.
Just as we encounter misfortunes in our personal lives so we will encounter misfortunes in our business lives as well. However, we have to find ways to rise above them. Instead of allowing them to destroy our businesses, we have to find ways around them and continue on our business paths. If we don’t then we will lose our businesses to them by dwelling, waddling and subduing to the misfortunes we encounter along our business journeys.

I had to start my life again from 0
and below 0 more than 5 times,
Misfortune/bad luck is been very harsh on me,
and I can't say that I got used to it,
because every time it comes around,
it's very hard to believe
that I could stand up again and walk...
but what I learn is that it made me more aware, stronger,
wiser, smarter and so on
The motto is:
NEVER GIVE UP!
no matter what!

Misfortunes are a part of life, it is our ability to rise above them that will enable us to move on. If not, we get stuck.
It is not just little minds though, it is all types of minds.
There are certain things in my mind that will not let go, and this does cause a momentary crippling effect. The precious good times filled with love and joy are hard to let go of. I think these memories will stick in my mind. It is one day at a time. I just got to avoid the trigger mechanisms.
