The older we get the more real we become. Only the truth of who we really are should come to light.
Discussion of the Quote:
The older we get the more we become ourselves. We are now embracing all that we are and accepting and making peace with everything about ourselves, good, bad, or indifferent.
Furthermore, the opinions of others about ourselves are valued less and we are not seeking the approval of others. Yes, we do care about the opinions of family and friends but you know what I am talking about. We are in love with who we are and what we are becoming. We no longer let others ruffle our feathers so to speak and the opinions of others do not matter so much to us at this point in our lives.
Final Thoughts:
Like it or not, this is us authentically. With age comes wisdom and understanding, {but quite a bit never receive these blessings}; therefore, we know that it is wise to be our authentic selves and nothing else. All falsehood will fade away and only our authenticities will remain.
The older we get the more comfortable we become in our own skins. We grow into ourselves and we are not afraid to show our true colors so to speak. We respect ourselves and honor our existence. We are fulfilling our purposes in our lives and nothing and no one will stand in the way of our authentic expressions of who we truly are.

Yes, we gain logic, wisdom, and understanding through our lives good memories and stupid choices we made. If someone had just explained life to me as a kid , I’m sure I would have become what I am wishing to become now… at my older age.
