Accept the Present Moment, It's All We Have!

Meaning of the Quote:
The present moment will always unfold what it has whether we accept it or not. We can not change the outcome of things but we change our acceptance or rejection of it.
Discussion of the Quote:
We only have our present moments. So to reject these moments is to reject our very existence. We have to live in the now because therein lies our power. We no longer have any control over our past moments, neither do we have control over our future moments. Indeed, we can try to anticipate and try to prepare and get ourselves ready for what we think is going to come.
More importantly, our lives always unfold in the present, not in the past nor in the future. So don’t waste your present moments thinking about your past moments or hoping for some future moments. Yes, from time to time, we do look back on past moments lovingly but we know we can not dwell in the past because sometimes this may lead to regrets. Also, we can wish our present moments away just so that we can get to our future moments that we hope will be better than our present moments.
Final Thoughts:
Our lives are always lived in the present, Therefore, we must learn to accept what they present to us as though we choose them. We can resist what life throws at us at any given time, We just have to learn to accept then choose how we will react towards them.

Hi Nichola, This is very profound post. No we can't relive our past and we can't go forward into the future either so all we do have is the present. Rather we like it or not. And remember tomorrow is not promise to us either.
But what we can do is live to the fullest in the present. And try to make more pleasant memories because is all we have is our memories. As long as we have that and the people that we love in our hearts then that is it my friend.
