Does google fetch even work anymore?

In the way you ask the question, I'll clarify for people who are new to this that indexing and ranking are 2 different processes.
Fetching is solely for indexing the URL in the search engine directory, as others have correctly mentioned. That can happen quickly, often within 24 to 48 hours.
Ranking refers to search positions, which depends on good keywords, SEO and other variables. Google says it has 200 ranking factors. It usually takes longer for a piece of content to be ranked in the top search results. ~Jude
Agreed. But I have an expected area where I’m going to rank at and I’m saying that it takes way longer to fall into that place than previously with Google fetch.
Google never guarantees how long indexing will take.
If indexing is taking longer than usual, maybe try asking at the Google webmaster community. I notice that similar problems were being discussed in May and June. I haven't read the threads but maybe you will find something useful about this issue:

When checking what pages people are going to on my site one of them isn’t even a page on my site, it’s mydomain.com/h/54555688
Something like that, what doe
Great question, I have the same thing happening a lot lately. Thank you Jude for answering this!!
There are good and bad bots.
Have you copied that one into your browser to see if it is an actual page that exists on the web? Could it be a redirect?
If it is bad bot traffic (referral spam, scrapers, downloaders, impersonators, etc.) you can:
1. Apply filters in your Google Analytics account. Filtering does not stop the bots but they won't show up in your stats to skew your results.
2. Consider blocking the IP address the bot is emanating from. I would only do that if you are getting hordes of traffic from that source.
3. Be sure to activate the "Block Bad Bots" feature in the All in one SE0 plugin.
4. Consider asking Site Support to take a look at it to check to see if there could be a potential security issue for your site.
~Jude
I tried pulling it up and it isn’t a page. Will definitely check out that feature in all in one, thanks!

I want to use the GoDaddy auction platform to sell one of my domain names, can we transfer domains we bought here to GoDaddy?
Yes, once you have owned the name for 60 days, it can be transferred. You will be required to pay for an additional year's registration at that time.

I sell my Godaddy domains on the Godaddy auction area. How can we sell domains that we have purchased here through WA?
Can we sell them or maybe transfer to Godaddy?
Dear ,
Do not sell domain names on Sedo.
Sedo is the biggest scam company in the world .
If you want to sell your domain names , then go to " Go Daddy"
GoDaddy is the only realistic company to sell domain names .
They will charge you something like 5 dollars and they will really put your domain names for auctions for 90 days .
In contrary to sedo , sedo try to show that they are free , but actually they are a big scam , they will try to force you to pay for their services which you do not need , if you do not do that they will suspend your account and they will never ever activate it . Even if email or contact them to just delete the account , they won't..With every email i get from sedo they just provide more evidence that they are a scam.
Briefly,
Godaddy is realistic , safe and worth the money.
, Sedo is big scam .
That's from my personal experience .
Hey Daniel,
Flippa dot com offers vendors a way to sell domains. They were the originators for this particular service.
Google searching this question, I also found the following:
2.) Sedo dot com
3.) Afternic dot com
4.) Igloo dot com
5.) Cax dot com
6.) Brandbucket dot com
7.) Huntingmoon dot com
Hope this helps you.
ok sounds good I'll look into it, I just have no idea how that works lol so I guess I'll have to do some research.
Flippa looks really interesting though.
Think I'd be most apt to use Flippa simply because they were the one to start this idea/offer. Their blog offers all sorts of great advice when selling domains too, so you may gain an advantage reading through some of them.
