Get in the habit of writing blog posts on WA
I'm now looking at the platform here to write blog posts completely differently than I did in the past. Previously, my perspective was that if you aren't making money online then you really shouldn't be giving advice here on WA.
That is the furthest thing from the truth. Many people who aren't making money (yet), still put out invaluable information here at WA. Each of us have something we can add that somebody else may not have covered, or may not have covered as well as YOU can.
So put out information that is relevant and that you think can help the community. Not only for the community but to sharpen your skills as well.
I read a post earlier today where someone spoke about how blogging at WA is like practicing on the driving range, and blogging on your website is like playing in an actually golf tourney. Great advice! Although since I'm a basketball guy the analogy I think of is putting up a couple hundred shots, or working on your ball handling. Then applying what you've learned to the actual game (your website).
So take full advantage of your platform here with WA, it's just part of the process of refining your skills and becoming excellent at what you do which will carry over to your website.

Apart from Loes suggestion, making money will not just come in a bang like that, it is a series of many little efforts my dear.
And really it doesn't need to be advice that you're blogging about. The majority of people are just chronicling their experience for future reference and the benefit of those that come behind them. So yeah blogging frequently is a great idea.
