It PAYS to follow through - Look at the END in mind!
Today is the first of the many birthdays that I have to celebrate this month.
As I look at my oldest daughter, I am almost choked to tears as I look at how proud I am of how she has led her life.
I must say that at 21 years old, she is an outstanding young adult. I guess she has been using the family tools that we are using to maintain our family foundation.
Promises & Partnership
As I wrapped her many gifts that I took from that very, very long list of birthday ideas that she gave me., I was lost in thought as I remember my promises to her while she was growing up.
I am very sure that I have broken some of those promises but the main ones I kept.
- To protect her at whatever cost.
- To provide for her
- To ensure that her needs are all taken care of
After all, I am her mom, and that's my job.
Our Website
Through my reflection, I thought about Wealthy Affiliate. and the business that we are building. We are given the tools here that our website can grow and flourish if adequately maintained.
I wonder what Kyle and Carson would say about their teenager website Wealthy Affiliate; if they did not maintain it.
One thing is for sure, we as members would not discover this incredible platform of opportunity.
Troubleshooting, roadblocks and setbacks
It was not a smooth journey for myself and my eldest daughter. Yes, we had the usually terrible twos and teenage tantrums, but I know that I had a gem in the making, and in later years, I would be reaping the benefit.
For most of us who have just started this journey, we must plan and be watchful.
of the setbacks and troubleshooting that we will be facing. Some of these are:
- Bumps in the road
- Writer's block
- Discourage and disappointment
- Almost quitting
- Chasing after shiny objects
- Money problems regarding fees and payments
And many, many more things to come.
We are building a strong foundation here at Wealthy Affiliate, and we have outer support in our very dear site support that is there to help us weather any storms that may come.
We should be confident that if we invest our time and effort into our baby, our website, 21 years later, we will be reaping all the benefits that we deserve.

This is a very insightful post. Everyone should keep in mind where the end result is for their website.
The problem for me is with coming up with new and fresh topics related to both of my websites. Also, I want to do more WA promotional stuff and maybe another ebook. I have a lot of projects in mind and it's not the end point that I'm concerned with, it's the beginning. The jump off the fence point.

Now on to the lessons you provide in this post - I havent faced any major issues yet since I was well prepared before taking the plunge. Just gradually laying the foundation as I learn along the way especially on here, ie following through with the end in sight 😊🌞
