We all love leaving comments.

Leaving comments are positive elements that allows us to make necessary changes to improve our growth as an entrepreneur.

We all request and indicate that we would like comments on our WA blogs and website.

Comments provides a bonus as it attracts other individuals to also responds. For our website, giving feedback or comments can also serve as a ranking factor for Google.

Today I want us to discuss the type of comments that we give on our WA BLOG.

One of the benefits of providing comments on the WA blog is that:

1. It can cause the community to bond and interact

2. It allows others to share their experiences which can indirectly encourage others.

3. It allows us to learn from the article itself and the comments/discussion thereafter.

I have been observing that some members are leaving generic comments for all the blogs they 'read'. Congratulatory blogs are excluded in this instance.

Whether it is a sad, humourous, or educated blog, the same comment is left, blog after blog.

What I find rather interesting is that a blog that should take 5 - 6 mins to read is left a comment that is not even related to the blog's content.

1. What are your reasons for reading a blog and leaving a comment?

2. Can you honestly say that you read throughout the blog before leaving a comment?

3. Does your comment add value to the blog?

Thank you for your participation in this discussion.

Please like and share your thoughts.

Good morning Simone,

I hope you're doing well.

That's an interesting and thought-provoking blog post. I sometimes wonder if members are just leaving a comment to gain rank rather than actually genuinely responding?! I may be wrong, I've been wrong many times before!

So, in answer to your questions;

I was going to answer your three questions individually, but I think I can answer them in one block or a few paragraphs.

One of the reasons I like to leave constructive comments is that when a member writes a blog post it's taken them time and effort. It's good to try and encourage each other to move forward and offer constructive comments even if it's perhaps not the answer that they expected. We can help each other by sharing our past and present failures and successes.

By replying to a blog post we can learn from other people's experience and what is working for others, plus a lot more! I also feel that for new members, it's especially important to reply and try and encourage each individual as they are trying something new.

I like to think that in every blog post that I reply to I have read the content thoroughly. There are some occasions when I speed read, but in general, I like to give a decent and informative reply.

I would like to think that my comments add value to a blog post, otherwise, it kind of defeats the objective of responding in the first place. Sometimes it probably actually takes me longer to reply to a blog post than it does to actually write a blog post, especially if I know my subject well.

Wishing you a great weekend Simone.

Roy

Roy, thank you for your A+ response

In all my blogs, I noticed that you took your time to respond appropriately

You give thoughtful action in your response and you have given valuable feedback.

Sometimes, you make suggestions for me to take action or reflect or both

I've mentioned before, that I've always look forward to receiving your response and today's response is no different.

Thank you, Roy for being an avid supporter.
Enjoy the rest of your day.

Good morning Simone,

Thank you for your reply, as always it's much appreciated.

I always appreciate your kind words.

I believe that we are privileged to have so many great members on this platform who want to add value. We can learn so much from each other when we share our thoughts and ideas.

Wishing you all the best and a great day.

Roy

Absolutely, well put, Roy
Thank you for stopping by
Have a beautiful day

At least for the time being, I have stopped seeking comments or giving comments. I'd like to see the present system over hauled so that we can offer a comment that the website owner can review and choose to allow to be posted or not and for the same website/web page/post be offered feedback. The present separated comments/feedback program, I feel, is like playing double jeopardy.

I do understand Ron
I hope, too that there will be a new system that will suit most members here on the platform

What are your thoughts regarding giving comments to blogs on the platform?

As I mentioned, I feel that the present separated comments/feedback program is like playing double jeopardy. If I ask for feedback, I hope to receive constructive criticism and if the reviewer then feels like offering a comment that is genuine in offering a compliment, a thank you or a positive (but genuine) statement, that would be terrific.

Thank you Ron for your participation in this discussion.

You're referring to site feedback and comments. I made a blog about this several months ago. This blog is about WA comments , like what you are giving to me now
I hope this helps 😃

Hello, my friend Simone,
Another great post and reading here, my friend.
Actually, I am not a good commenter, but I always tried my best to read and share my honest ideas about the topics, and I am just hoping that I contribute and adding good value to it; who's going to give the score to? It still the author. Thank you so much for sharing.

All the best,
Joyce

You are an engaging commenter, Joyce

Hi Simone,

Great questions! When I read a blog post, I do so because I am interested for various reasons - educationally, personal interests, concerned about the welfare of others, information, celebrate with others- success, anniversaries, birthdays among others.

I always read the blog post to the end then I like the post and leave a comment. Most days, I read about 10 - 15 blog posts within an hours. I have often wondered how some people could comment on so many blog posts in a day! Are they spending the whole day just reading blog posts?

I leave a comment on a blog post based on how I have been impacted by that blog post so I will say yes my comment add value to the blog post.

Thanks for sharing this valuable post! Have a fantastic day! Wishing you the vry best!

Kind regards,
Nichola

That's absolutely true Nichola
I've noticed that you always leave valuable comments.

We all have different reasons for being at WA.

Some members are here for hosting and others are here for socialising. I am here to learn how to financially free.

So it depends on our reasons , and hence our time spent on the platform.
.
Thank you for stopping by. It is always a pleasure

Indeed, we are all here for different reasons. Likewise, I am here to learn how to become financially independent. You are welcome. Have an enjoyable Friday! Wishing you the very best!

Thank you, Nichola
Have an awesome day
