Wealthy Affiliate - Beta Tags System
I was asking a question just now on how you implement a 'tags system' in Wealthy Affiliate.
The reason I was asking the question is that I realized that there are hundreds, if not thousand events in WA evey day, be it blog post, training, people asked questions, training, tips, video training and the list going on and on. Frankly, it is impossible to be part of every event here in WA.
Whether it is a simple question, a long blog post, blog training, video training - all these can turn out to something invaluable resources, if not now, may be in future.
How many times you have tried to search something you have read or watched in the past and you could find it? I have encountered that problem.
Now I realize that because I don't have systematic tagging system I can't retrieve the item I was searching or it takes me minutes to get it at hand. I also realized that this is due to the tags created by the author might not directly related to the post, possible?
So this my Beta Tagging System.
I will break it down into these lists and appreciate if you add to the list any thing that you think I have missed:
- Blog-Keyword
- Question - Keyword
- Video - Keyword
- Wordpress (website)
- Social Netword (anything related to social network)
- Affiliates
- Quotes & motivation
- SEO
- Google - Analytic and Webmaster
- Success Story
- People - Expertise
It's going to be expansion of what we already have now.
That are some of the lists I can start with and I will expand it over time.
Please add on something that you think I should include in the list.

Thanks for the idea. I just prefer the tags I can easily remember, but those of your are pretty good as starting point.
Haven’t been into that. I’m doing bootcamp now. I’m excited but as per your advise, I’ll read Amazon’s TOS first. :)

I think we have too much to have it all in one day.
May be using the tag system will help you a bit in your prioritization.
When I started I kept everything. Much of interest but not much value.
Now, I have email files for Important Blogs that I keep and a file for questions and one for training, etc see image. Not that I have time to go back and read them.

The only place in my life I'm organized in my computer. No screen covered with shortcuts and icons for me. Everything has its place and everything in its place unless I'm working on it.
Really because I'm lazy and want to be able to find things easily and quickly.

That's the philosophy behind it all Steve.
If 'we' are lazy but keep things organized, life goes on.
On the other hand, if 'we' are lazy but not getting orgnanized, it can lead to a nightmare!

I have the exact same problem locating something I read/saw before that I needed to reference. What I am doing now is the old fashion method of copying the URL and saving in different categories in a Word doc for easy reference.

Hey...that's a great system to adopt. I have had, and still have, problems looking for things I bookmarked.
You bookmarked them to your browser? Wow, I already have a packed item in there, I need something handy within WA so that I don't have to bookmark it to browser.

Oh no, not on my browser, but in WA. Then, when I come to look for something, the chances are that I can't find what I'm looking for, which is rather frustrating.
