Hey Everyone,

I've got a new referral who is interested in hearing some success stories. If you have a story, long or short please be kind and share it below and I'll link to this blog so she can see them.

Or if you know of some goodones please leave a link to them here. Thanks so very much.

Hi Robert,

I like the answers from Kyle, Gordon and Dom. Thought I would add another.

We all agree success takes time, and persistent effort with a solid routine as if doing a job for someone else. I find the hardest thing is trying to absorb so much information, then having to backtrack to improve old work and working out the strategic timing to add each new piece when there seems so many pieces to add and so much to learn. It's just like building a house. You have to start with the action and materials in the right order or you end up in a helluva mess. Trouble is, when you are at the beginning and just pouring concrete foundations, this step does not look very inpiring and you wonder if you will ever see walls or windows....but in time you do.

Being told this as a beginner sounds true but it does not quite make you feel inspired to push through like a good story from someone that has made it. Those occassional success stories can strengthen purpose when you feel flat.

An example worth looking at that stresses simplicity that I would recommend is an example on Frank's website where he shows the steps in putting together a simple Amazon sales site in 5 days (bearing in mind he is experienced and can do in 5 days what may take lesser experienced people 4 weeks or more). This is a nice example as it parallels the Jay's current training.

I liked how he stepped it out and then has results showing his first sales results in 8 days, which I don't think was expected as he seemed surprised! Its nicely inspiring and a good example because it shows what a good tight niche with a simple approach to website design can achieve. The example is on his website and here is the link:

As with all new ventures success comes on many levels, for me it is the fact that I am doing this and building a business to ensure my future, this is truly an opportunity that is open to all ages, regardless of back ground or where you live

There are lots of success stories that people share around here and there is actually a success Filter on the Activity Dashboard where people can go to read about success that is taking place here at WA every day.

Here is just one recent story:

I'm 68 years old and certainly didn't grow up around computers and the Internet. But the fact is that success online has the same requirements as success offline. The tactics and some of the "Rules of Engagement" are different, but business is business, success habits are crucial, and sticking to it is an absolute requirement. I hit my first 6-figure income year before I ever had a website, and with a list of only 900 subscribers. On top of that, I probably did more thing s wrong than right in those early years. But I knew how to create compelling content, forge joint ventures with others who had high quality content and how to build incredible customer loyalty. I also committed early on to never allow my customers to outgrow the need for my products and services, whether I created it or JVd or affiliated with someone. That gave me repeat business from loyal customers, which is the only way to succeed long term.

I sold my business in 2013 and am semi-retired now...just hanging out with you guys. All because I had a vision, I acted on it and I stuck with it.

My advice to your new referral is this...Internet Marketing works. There are tons of success stories on WA and elsewhere. Enjoy the success stories, but in reality they are irrelevant to your own success. That depends totally on your commitment, your decisions, your actions and your perseverance. I promise you...it works.

Go forth and conquer!

A Fellow Warrior who's been where you want to be,

Gordon
