Turning Weakness Into Strength

Hi there peeps!

I just had my first post inside WA community last week and this would be my second.

Technically, this is my third week in WA and my monthly premium monthly subscription will be charging me soon but guess what, this is not the one that bothers me more now. There’s a lot of happenings lately, and I am in the level 2 of my training, the early part where I am currently searching and stocking up keywords to use for my content. This makes me excited for the outcome and look forward to the day my first ever blog to come out in the web.

I am currently scheduled for therapy this week which would require me to be confined at the hospital for few days, 4 to be exact, which also means I am not going to report to my regular 9-5 job within the period.

While I cannot say I am happy for being admitted or being ill, but the idea that I can also continue writing or working on my content given the “extra time” makes the situation way bearable or even be a blessing other than anything else. Who knows, this could really be “a sign”. I know, some or majority here would tell me, the answer lies in my hands but what I can only say is that the feeling is real.

This is not so me before, as what I told you in my first post, I am not used to writing this long, and know what, I am not even fond of having Facebook shout outs in my wall either, so I guess this is really it; once you find another way to reach your goal and found somebody, a community, to tell you and show you that you have all the reasons to believe, there is no holding back.

Cheers! And may the force be with us all!

You will probably get some good niche ideas at therapy. I do some of my best work during the 2 hours I spend every week donating plasma. Body down time doesn't mean brain down time.

Very well said. Made use of the time in trying to fill up my first content and when i get back home to continue my recuperation period, hopefully I'll be done with level 2. And yeah being out of place doesn't mean being out of power.

Thanks

When I have a lot of errands to run, I will even take the bus and study on there. How is therapy going?

thanks for asking. the therapy when smoothly and on schedule. i just got home, quite dizzy but fine. just a couple of days off and may recuperate pretty well..

see yah!

Being an Exercise Therapist I know there are a lot of pretty little ladies in the profession. Did you luck out with your therapist? lol

Happy to hear about your progress!

I remember that when I got started, I had sometimes challenges to produce a single 500-word blog post a week because I wasn't used to writing...

Later on, I was able to publish seven +1,500-word blog posts every single day even though I was working +50 hours a week in my another job and going to the gym 3 times a week that took ~7-8 hours.

So, the writing skill really becomes better over time :D

Good post. Just hang in there! It sounds like you are doing well. It is nice to look back and realize you are, indeed, moving forward. And, for not being used to writing long pieces, you did quite well, and your grammar is also quite respectable. That always impresses me.

Best of luck on your journey.

thank you Ma'am, i might need that luck indeed. But what is more reassuring here is the community itself. The testimonies, the encouragements, and the quality of the training we get from WA has, for me, given more than my money's worth.

thank you for your feedback on my grammar, i consider it a very valuable comment since English would be considered a third language from where I am. Yeah, i don't feel that confident yet so I really appreciate that. Gave me quite a boost.

forgive me for "engaging" because commenting and replying form part of my practice and "self-training". :-)

Forgive you for "engaging?" I think your engaging is a good thing. I, too, practice in the same way. Keep up the good work.

Go ahead and write it out and make that site of yours working.

i' ll try my best.
thanks

Great positive way to look at your therapy. Hopefully you'll be able to get some research for your next site post or even a post or two written while you're there.
Good luck to you. Wishing you much success.

the optimism here is contagious...

thanks

Hi Neal,

I guess this is what life is all about - finding that silver lining...the "reason" that everything happens...

Your profile pic shows you know a thing or two about "hanging in there" so I won't say it here! :-)

Wishing you a speedy recovery!

hahaha yeah you noticed. . . in addition to what you said, sometimes we really have to learn how to hang in there, not just for ourselves, but especially for those who need us even by simply being there. . . and also thanks to those who were generous enough and those who sacrificed a lot too to teach us how to actually make it through..

thanks
