Lookinh Back While Looking Ahead.

Well the time has come and its almost here. Like some great big event some are looking forward to the New Year with great expectation of accomplishing wonderful things;others see it as just another day and the coming of a new year as no big event.

What ever one may think of this event, there will be those who will go out of their way to celebrate this new year and spend their last dollar to have a good time need not tell you that tomorrow they will be drunk and also broke with no intentions of changing their lives. You see already they are making plans to do the same thing all over again and the cycle continues again and again.

Here at WA we have the tools in our hands to make a difference not only in our own lives but in the lives of those we come in contact with. What a great opportunity for us to tell others about WA and especially when we can show tangible proof of what we are talking about.

Some of us will never do that because we are not willing to step up to the plate and be counted. To spend long hours at the computer is too bother some;to sit and write an article is too much work. Yes ! I was getting into that mindset, but I have decided to shake it off, and now thank God I find writing a pleasure and a part of my own self development.

I thought of centuries ago when there was no computers, and there was no type writers, or dictionaries. The means to write was the domain of the privilege few and yet men sat down and with their limited resources produced some monumental works. I think of men like Shakespeare. Milton,Voltaire,Byron,Keats and Shelly. I could go on to tell you of Cervantes who wrote Don Quixote who locked himself in his study and hardly eat anyt

hing until he got his work completed. Then of course there is Ellen White who had many great works to her credit.

I am here naming just a few of the men and women who used their brain to produce outstanding works which helped to enrich our lives and our language and here we are complaining about writing a few hundred words.Henceforth no more complaining from me. I will go into the New Year with a resolution to write relevant content for my benefit and the joy of those who come to my site.
