New registered user- what exactly does this mean?

I don't think there should be other usets unless you have allowed others to sign on as a user. Not absolutely sure but I'd ask questions.

The foundation of my site is a little different then what I've been seeing on other pages. I definitely need to tweek it some, and make a couple of adjustments. But I was wonde
Thanks everyone! This is why I love WA! =) I'm already working on re-arranging my ads. :) I appreciate everyone's feedback!
I use AdSense as a way to monetize my site and I know others use this same program as a way of making a little extra money. You can select small ads like I did and you'll only have 3 small adds.

Hello,
I definitely would REMOVE them in your article's...
(you add a quickstap banner in your WA review.... :-) )
But you can place 1 or 2 ads on the side, but not like you do....
The reader does not know what he is reading about with all those ads in between...
Grtz,
Bert
Ads can leak your prospects off your site. Only you can decide but I have found it is better to direct people to your affiliate offer rather than grasp at the pennies that ads may provide.
Neva, I see one WA banner linked with your WA affiliate.
My personal feelings on this are that this page is for promoting WA. I would disable/remove any other advertisements that seem to be appearing for other things and only promote WA advertisements.
Additionally, if a website visitor is truly interested, they will read your entire article and you should have a "call to action" at the tail end of your text. A large CLICK-HERE-to-get-started-you-must-be-blind-if-you-miss-this-link type of banner. :-)

I am promoting a site with my referral link embedded on the site; I will get credit for sign-ups through that link. Do I need to put a disclaimer indicating this on my website?
Hi there, I totally agree that transparency is always the best option. Here's a link to what the FTC has to say... https://www.ftc.gov/tips-advice/business-center/guidance/ftcs-endorsement-guides-what-people-are-asking#affiliate
Disclosure is really important for sure.
Hi Nevalynn, I am not sure if there is an official right or wrong answer to this, however my personal feeling is it's always best to be open and honest with your readers, so mentioning that there are some affiliate links within your website would be doing just that. hope this helps a bit :)
Thanks! It definitely helps because I want to have a connect with my readers. I appreciate it!

I feel like I'm asking a dumb question.. :-/ But I guess it's the only way I'll know! When editing, there is an option to add tags or categories on each page or post. I'm not s
It's not a dumb question at all. There is a bit of confusion about how tags work and if they are worth using at all.
Tags are much like categories. And, when used effectively can help users navigate your website/ WordPress blog. But, when not used correctly or in many cases I have seen OVER-used are just about worthless.
So, it's really a commitment on whether or not to use them. If you do, you have to remain vigilant in your tagging and organization. The key to tagging is to use them sparingly..... when a category isn't going to fit well. Tag instead.
Again, just don't overdo it or it does more harm than good. It's just a pet peeve many of us have when visiting a site that isn't tagging effectively.
Not sure this helps! LOL! But, my perspective on the tagging/category debate! :-)
Thank you, this does help. I may have to look into whether or not it would be something I want to do!
