I would PM Carson and ask. It's unlikely any of the members here would know, as this is deep into the server configuration of WA and not accessible to members (even if they are technically saavy, such as myself).
Are the blog posts, within WA, attached to your profile, indexable by Google?
I was amazed about how quickly your posts get indexed here on WA.... Got me to thinking of a few ideas.
I know my blogs on WA are indexed on Google. The problem is you are not allowed to have duplicate content. What you put on your WA blog cannot be copied exactly to your website and vice versa.
Whichever one you do first is the original content.
I use my WA Blog link on my website.
It is also mentioned in the WA policy. Kyle said you are not allowed to copy any WA Blog content to your website and vice versa.
I hope I am understanding the policy correctly :)

Duplicate content, wherever it is posted or copied from is not good for a website's SEO.
Not sure where you are seeing duplicate content. But, nothing I have posted here on WA exists anywhere else on the internet including my blog!

Yes they are. For example, i just searched your question on Google and it's already been indexed! WA blog posts will index the same too.
I'm starting to think about this and now I am concocting a research project to perform with one of my domains.
I have a domain that I would like to build out and start using. It's been setting for a while with no traffic and no indexing from Google (probably because of very little content).
I'm wondering if I moved this domain to hosting with WA if it would get better traffic than with the current self-hosted environment I have for it.
I'm thinking that this might be a good research project just to see if a domain hosted with WA works better than a self-hosted domain on a dedicated server.

The only way I see moving your domain to WA hosting as increasing website traffic is if if your website loads fatser on WA or your current webhost isn't to reliable and your website goes offline fairly often.
Other than that you would probably still need to put content on your website. WA constantly has new content being sdded to it on a daily basis, so that's probably the reason why it gets indexed so fast.
Good point.... It might not make much sense to migrate my website to WA then. The host I use currently is very reliable and fast.
I need to work on just adding content and track the results then...

I'm attempting to build more engagement from my visitors by adding an enhanced commenting system (Disqus). What I have noticed prior to this replacement, was that I am getting
Personally, if a blog has Disqus or any other such commenting installed, I pass on commenting. I already have enough accounts to maintain passwords on, so I refuse to setup an account just to leave a comment.

Everytime I have left comments they want me to provide my name, email address, and website. Just like creating an account to me.
Verifying that you are a real person by leaving a name (you don't need to leave your surname if you don't want to) and a legitimate email address (which is NOT displayed with your comment) just helps a blogger prove that your comment was not created by a spambot.
You're not signing up for an account unless you're asked to create a username and password ... which Disqus does.
