My big book
A few months ago I wrote a blog about Seth Godin's book. It is not a regular book. This book weights a lot. It can be used as weight to press on something or as the reminder for me that nothing comes easily in the life.
I can be easily distracted. Especially when I am home, I have something more to do. Cooking, reading, friends and ideas to think about sometimes keep me away from reality.
Reality is that I need to write, write and write.
I guess that many of us are guilty in one or an other way. I wonder what kind of tactics my fellow WA members use to keep them on the track?
Do you use apps or notes close by you? Do you have strong will or motivation to reach for more, achieve more compare with you friends and family?
This particular book cost me about $ 200. Previously when I wrote blog about this purchase some of members doubted if it was worthy of money.
I have this book on the table. It can not be missed because it is huge. When I get in the morning, I read one page. It gives me insights and nourishment for mind. Every short story has deep meaning. In this way I concentrate better and think about what is really important for me.
For example, in this story Is Snacking Learning? Seth Godin provides idea that " I don't think learning is defined by a building or a certificate. It's defined by a posture, mindset and actions taken."
Conclusion
For me this book is worth of every penny. The content is inspiring. One thing that I am not so much excited about are images used in this book. It is a contemporary art.
Unfortunately, nobody asked me what kind of images I would like to see. Just joking.
What kind of tools for inspiration and motivation do you use?
