Wow! What a pleasant surprise! After checking my WA account, I discovered that I am among top 100 WA members as of today! This is a rather amazing achievement given that my network is not yet even 1000, and that I am not a big blogger either (14 posts including this one). To anyone wondering how to make it to TOP 100 in 3 SUPER EASY steps, read on.

Step #1. Be Nice To People

The only reason I am in Top 100 is because WA members responded to my comments, liked my posts and interacted with me in a positive way. They reacted in such a way, because my actions were positive and encouraging towards other WA members.

Positive interaction is a virtuous circle. The more you give, the more you receive back! I am in Top 100 because of WA MEMBERS! Thank you!

Was I very active? Did I comment a lot? No. I was moderate in my comments. My activity on WA would peak during weekends, and would go down during the week. The reason for this is that I can allocate my time to WA mostly on weekends. I believe this the case for the majority of WA members here.

However, when I do comment, I try to make a valuable comment. I read the post first, and then interact. I always try to add some value in each and every interaction.

HOW TO DO IT? Be nice to people. Interact in a positive way.

WHAT WILL YOU GET? Positive engagement and higher ranking.

Step #2. Publish Valuable Posts

I published just 14 posts, including this one. This is just a drop in the ocean compared to the hundreds of posts published by top Creators at WA. To my surprise, my post Nr 10 made it to the Top 10 posts coming to the position Nr 2!!! This particular post was about the WA network. You can read it here.

Another post that did very well was my recent post on high ticket scams. A topic of high interest to me because I care about WA members who are negatively affected by bad actors. You can read this post here.

I also published about hiring freelancers on Upwork and Fiverr, and also about setting goals and reaching them. They also received many positive comments and many likes.

As you can see, I have not published a lot of posts. I wrote only about things that matter to me and to WA members.

HOW TO DO IT? Write about things that matter to you. It is not the quantity, it is the quality that counts!

WHAT WILL YOU GET? Many likes and many comments.

Step #3. Follow and Be Followed

I am a relatively new member at WA - my 6 month member badge is not yet shining, but should light up any time now. My network is close to 1000 - nowhere near to the multiple thousands of some of the top WA members.

Does it mean that you don't need to build your network? No need to follow and be followed?

No, quite on contrary! I noticed that my ranking started going rapidly up as soon as my network reached 500.

This number came naturally by following my favorite WA creators and helpers.

HOW TO DO IT? Follow your favorite creators and helpers.

WHAT WILL YOU GET? Your network will grow and will support you.

Why does it matter?

Clearly, my ranking might eventually drop below 100. I saw ratings going up and down a lot, and that's ok.

What truly matters are the real interactions and the real value that you are building for yourself and for other WA members. We are all trying to build our business or acquire new skills. We are leading busy professional and busy family lives, and we have our goals that we want to achieve.

In all of this context, isn't it the most wonderful thing in the world that by pursuing our goals we are also able to help others?!
