Third Amazon sale!
I woke up to a third sale this week, this time from my other site, (the older one, coming up to three months old).
To go from no sales to three so far in less than a week is quite exciting. Yes, the money is peanuts - but now I can see that it's possible to make more, I can see how I can try and scale it to get more traffic and therefore, more sales.
I also made a few changes -- I checked google analytics to see the pages with the most traffic/most popular and then added links within those pages to other pages that weren't as high up in the search and not so easily found (as long as they were relevant of course) in order to get more traffic to those pages and more potential sales.
I am affiliates with other companies and the other companies have 30 day cookies often, rather than that 24 hour window....so, I'm hopeful to get some sales from those in the near future.
Exciting times, I hope to report back with more sales soon.

Thank you! I have two, one is 3 months old and one is 2 months old. I got a sale within a couple of weeks of my first, but then nothing until now. two of my recent sales were with my newer website though. Good luck! :) :)
That sounds great, my page is 3 months old, but no sales yet, my traffic is quite low. How many visits do you get monthly?
I just checked your site via your profile? Your site looks great, I love the style of it, it looks really professional. Are you using a keyword tool? My traffic is quite low on the 3 month site, -358 users this month, 833 page views... The 2 month one has had lower - 156 users, but nearly 800 page views .The issue with my second site at the moment is moving up in the rankings on google - as by nature, being very product based, it has a lot of affiliate links, so I may have to rely on other means to get traffic eventually - like social media etc. Honestly though, your site looks fantastic to me - what sort of traffic are you getting and clicks through on amazon?
Thanks Neh! My traffic is the same, around 360, but organic traffic is quite poor, around 30 a month, how hugh is yours?. It's amazing that you're already able to make sales with such low traffic, imagine what's going to happen when you start ranking better! Good job!
organic this month is 215 for the older one - 113 for the newer one. Where is a majority of your traffic from - referral? That's next on mine. How is your position on average in google? I am happy with the sales but I dont think my older one will get very far at all, it's too narrow and I don't think I'll grow it much more. The newer one is kids art/decor related and that has more promise but it is very time consuming because it's very visual and lots of links involved. I do have another website planned to start - via bootcamp now. Its hard to fit everything in though :(
