Vegas 2018: Every Year Is Unique

I've been to the Wealthy Affiliate Las Vegas conference for a couple years now, and every year is different. 2018 was no exception. It's hard to pick a favorite year, but it might be this one!

My trip started out better than normal, with a first class flight on Virgin Airlines. I had previously tried to book first class on other airlines, but the cost was astronomical. I think it was only about $50 extra to fly first class from SFO to LAS through Virgin America!

The leg room is amazing! I wonder if they have an affiliate program.

Just because I've been to a few conferences doesn't mean that I can't discover new things though. This time, I finally discovered the MGM spa and took a couple hours to sit in the Sauna and listen to relaxing music away from the noise and bustle of the casino.

I'm a big sauna fan (cool niche idea BTW), so love just hopping back and forth between the sauna and the ice cold vitamin c infused showers they provided.

The conference is always super busy! We get so much done and have so many activities planned, that it's hard to find a moment to chill out and let your brain absorb all the information you're taking in.

I did take some time to get work done though. The great thing about running an online business is that during crunch times, you really can run your business with just 30-60 minutes a day, or even take a full day off.

Of course, you can't do that year round, or you'd run into problems! But for a week, it's not an issue. Here was my "office" for the week. Usually I don't recommend working from bed, because it reduces productivity, but for some basic catch up work it's alright :)

My absolute favorite part of Vegas every years is the conversations that happen between activities. Walking between casinos, at the dinner table, or even just leaving the Sky Lofts to our individual rooms is a flurry of chatter about what happened to our websites in the previous years and what we have planned for next year.

Chatting with other members of WA is very inspiring, and everyone comes to the table with a unique set of ideas to share. Even if you are not in the same niche, you can leverage their strategies to boost your own income and traffic.

The great news for everyone here, even if you didn't got to Vegas for the conference, is that you get that same experience here in Wealthy Affiliate.

Yes, the training is incredible. But the real magic happens after the work is done, in live chat, WA Blog posts, classrooms, private messages, and conversations on the training modules. Talking to real people starting real businesses is how you can grow exponentially as an online business owner.

So although the sun has set of Vegas 2018, it's still a brand new year and full of potential. I came back super inspired to double down on my websites, and I hope to double my income this year because...why not?!

My best advice to making your own online business a success is to leverage Wealthy Affiliate to it's fullest potential. Talk to people, learn from their mistakes and success, and enjoy building your website from Just Another Wordpress Site, to an income generating online business!
