Don't Forget To Help People
I know from experience that when I got started trying to make money online with a website, I had my eyes focused on dollar signs. I wanted to make money!
But the longer I built my website, I had time to ponder why my purpose was in the customer purchase lifecycle.
Now, when I write a post, I often ask myself the question, "Does this help anyone?".
I ask the same thing when picking a niche.
The reason I bring this up is because I came across a very interesting niche recently - senior meal delivery services.
There are a variety of situations where an older person wouldn't want to, or wouldn't be able to cook for themselves. Having a service deliver fresh meals to their doorstep would help immensely!
But which services ones are tasty?
Which ones allow for dietary restrictions like diabetes?
How about price comparisons?
This is a great opportunity to help people in need by providing honest, up-to-date, easy-to-understand information on your website. Even if your target audience isn't the seniors themselves, but the children that have to help take care of them. Another potential audience could be senior service providers, so something like a B2B niche.
Potential niche ideas surrounding this topic:
- meal delivery services
- easy to prepare meals for seniors
- how to care for aging parents
- in-home assisted living product reviews
- veteran related
- disabled related
- etc + more
This is just one example of how to leverage your website to help people and make money at the same time. Keep your eye open for opportunities like this!

Those are great ideas for niche expansion Nathaniel, especially the monetization angle which can be appended affiliate style in any niche!
Same as always. Food delivery services have affiliate programs. Bistro MD Silver is one example.
Even if the services are free, you can monetize with Adsense.
Or you could potentially redirect traffic to other senior assisted living products like medical alert systems, assisted cooking tools, or related cookbooks.
Nathaniell, thanks for a great post and for a great response to Jovo's question. Your positive and enthusiastic attitude has obviously been a major factor in your success ,and it's something we all could use more of.
